nice! Just saw Blue Mountain 2 weeks ago as an opener for Big Smith (if you are familiar with them). They made the headliner have to work hard for sure.

although Trey did almost ruin the ned. He was a little off on that song. Amen on missing them though. Summers are hard with out them to look forward to at least catching a couple shows on a tour.

I'm a Peter Weller fan myself.

my wife and I have about 50% common interest. She love Wilco, Son Volt, UT, Whiskeytown, the Dead, PJ and some others that I truley like if not love. She's not as expirimental as I am, usually she doesn't get to excited about going to shows unless it's an established band that she likes. And i listen to a lot of stuff she down right loathes, as I'm sure a lot of other people do to. Like Phish, she hates Phish with every fiber of her being, I'm assure her she is not the minority on that. But there are many others I listen to that she will walk in and be "What the hell is that?" She likes alot

you will not be dissapointed seeing the Meat Puppets. Saw them in March and had no expectations, and they blew me away with their energy. -

Ijust thought of one going thru my cd's... What is ther big deal w/ Graham Parons? He doesn't do much for me, some of his songs sound like something in a bad 70's movie. November rain is the finest rock ballad ever written. -

I'm not a fan of his music, but I can tolerate it though when my wife puts it on her car, and I think he's pretty funny when he does SNL. -

Another add to my rant: All highly toughted alternative acts are overrated based on the premise, no band can live up to the degree of critical hype that is laid on them. Some people like that music, some people don't, they are always going to be overrated to someone. There will never be another big thing because it rock music in general is not new. Everyone has been influenced by someone who has done it before, and most likely did it better. -

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band is annoying, expcially when they share the microphone and do the back to back guitar thing, they all dance around like they are the kids at the high school dance that can't keep rhythm. Van Morrison is easily the most boring musician still alive, Brown Eyed Girl infuriates me, as does Wild Nights Phish, and the jamband scene as whole, including the surviving members of the Grateful Dead should have called it quits after the summer of 1998 for no other reason than to stop bands like Umphrey's McGee and Widespread Panic. Jimmy Buffet sucks, Parrothe -
