that's not true at all. ABAAC might be bad but the last three were great, especially BTCD. most fans consider that one of their best.

there are at least two discs worth of outtakes and b-sides that we've heard that are excellent and most of those outtakes and alternates are the YHF stuff. i'm sure they could fill one or two more discs with other stuff from their career that would be fun to hear.

Also, (still) on a personal relation to that collection -- I find it interesting that the 2 discs split at EXACTLY the point where I lost interest in following the band. Those are pretty much exactly the 2 eras into which I see the band's career being split.

no harm intended. i really only purchase music that i can get a lossless copy of and therefore i despise iTunes bonus tracks although i do seek them out as i am a completist.

of course i've bought the deluxe edition of the album and i have 600+ CDs and a really nice pair of headphones, which is how i do my listening and why i prefer lossless. what with storage capacity and download speed increasing, hopefully all of the online music stores will transition to lossless quality...
