  1. i listened to it again this weekend & really really enjoy it. i'm kind of surprised. i've had such a love/hate relationship with the wallflowers/jakob. sure there's nothing adventurous, not every album has to be. it's a really nice lazy sunday/early morning album.
  2. this jakob dylan solo album is not too bad. i was expecting absolutely nothing.
  3. is he seriously wearing a che guevera shirt?
  4. i loved the first one immediately. i think i listened to the second one 5 times & coudln't stand it.
  5. i think you two are the only people i know who liked the second more than the first!
  6. mmj - evil urges i think i'm finally coming around to this one. it's taken long enough.
  7. the flatlanders - more a legend than a band
  8. guy clark - Old No. 1 if i could just get off a-this LA freeway without getting killed or caught i'd be down the road in a cloud of smoke to some land that i ain't bought bought bought
  9. hahah! i never heard that story. awesome.
  10. i honestly couldn't get through the whole thing. i tried about 4 times. how his bandmates haven't killed him by now i'm not sure.
  11. i tried watching Dig! and i fuckin' hated it. i try not to let an artist's personality influence my opinion on their music but i want to punch anton. what a fuckin' douchebag.
  12. i'm not real sure you can consider this a 'rock' movie but 'hearts on fire' with dylan is quite possibly the most laughable thing i've ever seen. it's so bad it's great.
  13. told ya! easily my fave album this year fuck the haters! i love this album.
  14. lots of pearl jam specifically rearviewmirror
  15. built to spill - perfect from now on
  16. i'll check it out. a comparison to the band will pique my interest anytime.
  17. mediamonkey can scrobble now? shit, i downloaded it like a month ago & it wasn't really working then. i loved it though.
  18. radiohead - in rainbows not sure the last time i listened to this. forgot how much i like it.
  19. dennis linde - s/t this is fantastic.
  20. me too so i looked up linde on allmusic. quite the songwriter! he wrote goodbye earle for the dixie chicks.
  21. compared to blessing i think it's better but it's a bit too long for me. bob is dreadful
  22. my love affair with dbt has greatly diminished since isbell left. lucero not so much, still love them i liked a few andre songs but not totally in love with. so yeah, it does.
  23. except for one glaring exception, my complete obsession (still to this day) with the black crowes
