  6. i saw the toadies open for white zombie in 1995 or 1996. they were fantastic. i need to get their first album again, lost it!
  7. i really need to listen to this more because i have not enjoyed it much. i have an odd relationship with mmj though. i love them live & used to be obsessed with at dawn/it still moves but now i have a hard time listening to anything by them.
  8. i never saw the pixies back in the day but did get to see them a few years ago (thanks to kyle!) and it was amazing.
  9. i still really enjoy 80's hairbands (poison, bon jovi, ratt, cinderella)

  11. i'm coming the realization i don't really like my morning jacket. i feel like i should like them but cannot listen to their studio albums anymore.
  12. i agree about the nick drake comment! i think he's a great guitar player but i cannot listen to any of his albums. i've tried numerous times!
  13. i really need to dl some of these songs & make a playlist! i love mc 900 ft jesus & until i met one of my best friend's in college, i had never met anyone else who knew who he was. i love that album.
  14. i love both dylan's but i prefer the rock dylan. the live 75 disc is probably my favorite disc (live or studio) from him.
  15. dylan's performance of 'it's all over now baby blue' at newport '65 was the first punk rock moment.
  16. i consider the clash more of a loud folk band than a punk band
  17. i love justin timberlake. i think his music is great & he's hilarious when hosting SNL. i absolutely hated that boy band he was in too. i hate 99% of indie rock
  18. i think i saw langhorne slim open for lucero? just caught the tail end of their set but really enjoyed it. this was two years ago maybe?
  19. joe henry - short man's room and the obsession continues.
