we are a house divided when it comes to the twins. when you ask each child who the next president will be:

 

owen: OBAMA!

i may have mentioned this earlier, we have never directly referred to obama to the kids at all. yet, owen can identify obama by picture, voice and even that seal he uses.

we left the kids home alone for the 1st time a few weeks ago to go to a party next door. I came home for a few minutes to check on them and brought them cookies from the party. An hour or so later my cell phone rings. It's the littlest one (6) in a fake old man voice and he says: "this is obama, bring home 2 chocolate chip cookies and one peanut butter cookie for the children. Again, this is obama".

i don't know why he knows what he knows but when i asked him why he likes obama, he told me john mccain is old and likes war.

I didn't know you lived in Mayberry.

and i always thought you did. isn't that a strange turn.

apparently exxon, chevron and bp employees have given obama more than mccain but the oil and gas industry overall has given over 3 times as much to mccain.

just changed the air filter. granted, it was the original filter that was 55000 miles old so i had alot of room for improvement.

all i know is that according to our wright express report, i picked up 2-3 mpg by changing my air filter alone earlier this year and that whole correct tire pressure thing is just common sense.

Is there a Republican talking point that you don't just regurgitate mindlessly?

 

Obama did not suggest that inflating tires would free us of our dependence on foreign oil. What he said was, properly inflated tires and tuned engines will keep our cars more gas efficient, saving people a few dollars. Do you disagree with that?
