Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with this suit, it cant bode well for your band when you have as many ex-members as Wilco does and they start to sue you. If this is the beginning of a trend Wilco will soon be bankrupt.

My girlfriend and I will be in Chicago the week of March 23rd. Since there are quite a few of you from Chicago, does anyone know a good local band or venue to check out that week? I already looked up every Wilco or Wilco-related band and there is nary a show in sight. Any help is appreciated. In the preface to "River's Edge" he talks about not getting official permission from Rivers Cuomo to write the book, but that the other members of Weezer gave him informal consent through email. Also in that preface he gives the idea of the book being a labor of love. I have my doubts now that I know he put out so many other books.
