  1. so... where is this going down?
  2. yeah... i didn't realize he was so fucking weird. what a creepo makes you appreciate guys like jeff tweedy when all the other talented artists are fucking weird as hell
  3. wow sounds like it really sucks then maybe in 20 years when jeff is old and retired he'll take the time to create a real tab book.
  4. how is AGIB completely Bennett free when all the songs on that album were written around the same time the songs for YHF were written?
  5. i have one song... no cars go, and i like it very much
  6. i'm still questioning if this album means anything lyrically... the music sounds great, but it also seems pretty hollow at the same time. i looked up some of the lyrics on the modest mouse fan forum, they really aren't of the quality or nature of say moon and antartica or lonesome crowded west. isaac ramblings don't seem to make much sense.
  7. then wilco will release a live album playing all these songs and pitchfork will be surprised when all the loudest applause is for the new songs
  8. where'd you get it? online... or are some stores carrying it?
  9. i love this album now... maybe a couple songs i'm still not feeling but i figure i haven't listened to it enough
  10. no one is going to buy a chord book... all the chords are up for free on the internet
  11. i'm pretty sure amazon.com's website promises guitar tab... so maybe that website is wrong
  12. hmmm... will wait to see reviews of this book before forking out $25 for a chord book
  13. Leno > Letterman currently. Letterman has plain given up.
  14. I have listened to them... Florida, for example, if full of Isaac ranting, i wouldn't consider that traditional pop music. You have a point on Fire It Up, but judging from the reaction of people on a different forum who aren't music snobs like we are here, almost no one liked the album. In fact, there were about 15 pages of negative replies. Using them as a sort of measuring stick for the common person in america, i'd say that this album really isn't that accessible as they obviously did not get it the first time they listened to it and filled the thread with "Modest Mouse sucks" and "this
  15. why would wilco want to be on such an unfunny show?
  16. i guess that could be a good thing though if he's throwing back to his previous style of just ranting rather than making an even more mainstream album than Good news... . i can't help but thinking dashboard was written solely for the purpose of having a catchy single to release to the radio stations. it's not like any of the other songs on the album (of what i've heard so far). i can see some executive getting the initial album, listening to it, and asking "where is float on?" and then demanding isaac go back and write a catchy pop song suitable for radio play
  17. initial reaction: it sucks i can't understand a word he says in any song except dashboard... i'll need to have the lyrics in front of me to really get into this album i've read a couple of reviews that say this album is accessible, i don't really think it is accessible at all. maybe one of their least accessible albums... it's definitely an album that needs to grow on you.
  18. complete with really funny jokes about discarded album titles
  19. wooooooooooooooooooooooo i was right, let's fight isn't on there... that song sucked, unless they changed the name of it. i bet on and on and on hasn't changed one bit cause it's is great as it is
