Just wanted to share this awesome clip of Keith doing "Before They Make Me Run" I came across Sunday night. I've watched it about 7-8 times. Dude is so awesome:

Scroll up. Post #51 in this very thread. It is a well-written article.

The best what?

Yeah, those Ark shows would be in there. I'd likely include: William and Mary 4.15.78 The S.Yarmouth shows U.VA. '83 St. Paul Civic Center 7.10.81. Amazing second set in/out of UJB->Playing and amazing China Doll Lake Placid '83 would likely be in there, though my quality is excellent already. Whole show top to bottom is top notch, Jerry's voice is squeaky but crisp, Bobby's playing is dynamite with lots of warbly wah-wah type effect....

Hot Stove League 2012-2013!!!

Fuck Pete Rose. Screw the players who took PEDs and didn't get in, too. They took the gamble, and lost. -
Hmm....Cornell 77, Harpur College, Valentines '70 Fillmore show, etc are all massively popular shows that were put out commercially. I can get their take, but the '83 hartford is just an example of a mainstream/average show. The better shows folks will lean towards, anyway....

While I think the Scarlet-Fire Hartford '83 show is decent enough, the big news was the St. Stephen show the following night. One of my favorites to attend and have a great quality of the show but the decision to go with the previous night always baffled me.....

That article is dated November 26, 2012 (hasn't even approached yet). I read it not too long ago (think someone posted it in the last thread, maybe?). Anyway, good stuff.

If memory serves, pretty sure some guy name "Terry," (if that's even his real name) was in the band on guitar in the early 70s. -

Jethro Tull just played around here not too long ago, so he's (Ian Anderson, that is) not truly in a post-music career phase, I suppose. Not in the Biblical/Phil Collins sense, at least. Shit I think my above list 1 post ago is missing one of the former members of the Grass Roots. Sorry, all. -

Note Scott Sechman as "Fill-in for '98 (I highlighted him so you wouldn't have to search too hard) I wonder whatever became of him after his stint in the band I wonder if it was something cool: Steve Barri - various instruments, producer, backing vocals (1965–1973) Robbie Barker - keyboards (1987) Gene Barkin - guitar (1974) Steve Berendt - bass (1980–1981) Creed Bratton - lead guitar, lead vocals, songwriter (1967–1969) Brian Carlyss- bass, backing vocals (1977-1978, 1979–1980; died 2007) Rick Coonce - drums, percussion, songwriter (1967–1972, 1972, 1981–1982; died 2011) Terry Danauer - -

Who was he a singer for? I have never heard of Creed as a famous or semi-famous or even non-famous singer. Phil Collins post-music career involved coming back to tell everyone who already thought he'd retired years earlier that he was now retired. That, to me, is pretty cool/interesting/odd. -
You'll never go, anyway. Coward.
