sarcasm?

yea but even a lot of hardcore wilco fans still think this album has lines about 9/11.. specifically war on war and jesus etc's "tall buildings shake voices escape singing sad sad songs"... its eerie, but not true... rolling stone even had to tackle the issue. edit... sorry for the late random entry.

ask a simple question... get no answers.

Does anyone know if the Death Cab for Cutie song "Crooked Teeth" is about Rilo Kiley lead singer Jenny Lewis? Ben Gibbard is on her album singing on Handle With Care and theyve toured together... I just heard about this last night but cant find any info anywhere to back it up...
-
actually i would say with the music industry means more like its leaked sometime in march, i download it - because its wilco, then it comes out whenever... and i buy it, because again, it's Wilco, and I'm cool like that...

his opening for jeff at mandel hall at u of c was awesome and the crowd was so quiet because theyre all pyschos... that would be a great recording to surfact, probably wont though..

Kingpin or any other outtakes from Kicking Television Sessions
jdmel replied to jdmel's topic in Just A Fan
i thought kingpin existed in some bonus track form from one of the other online music outlets... through wilcoworld or yahoo or something, i dont even remember... i cant wait til that footage and audio from the may shows surfaces, i think were all anticipating that... -
Anyone got it and mind posting??

I am pumped Dave Matthews wont be playing at Wrigley Field, as a lifelong Cubs fan I think that would further perpetuate a negative stereotype about us Cubs fans , if the Police came it would be... glorious.

yea where are these that sounds sweet!

So i didnt read through every comment but ive seen a lot wondering if its a joke - and if you look at the video on that site which has been replayed on youtube and college humor it looks like a low level internet comedian but i dont really get it, i think mainly because its too real, too obscure and isnt that funny anyway

yea as someone who forked over the extra cash to be "part of a dvd taping" and sat outside the vic for 6 hours i wouldnt mind seeing it released in some form.. especially as i often look back at those shows as the best concerts ive ever been to.

Besides Wilco who are your favorite bands
jdmel replied to yankhotelfox's topic in Someone Else's Song
I wish I could be more High Fidelity-esque with this list but here we go anyway: Guster (because theyre fun and exciting but not because they are partial sell-outs and i hate the dave fans who associate themselves with Guster), the Raconteurs (All that is rock right now besides Wilco), Jack Johnson (on hiatus though), John Mayer (Continuum is the leaning towards the making of a future blues God), Ben Folds, Ben Kweller, The White Stripes, the Old 97s & Rhett Miller (saw him live last april, amazing), Ben Gibbard & Death Cab (semi-guilty pleasure), Kings of Leon, the Jayhawks, Kanye W -
yea id be thankful if a copy of this ended up on the tracker
