They did most of Tweedy's vocals closed mic - meaning in a different room, basically. I get the feeling it was done the same where here. I'm loving the liberal use of pump organ.

I'm just listening to Walken for the first time... But the first thing that comes to mind is YHF...with 100% less noise and 100% more rock. I feel the same closed mic madness (and I mean good closed mic madness) from Tweedy that was there on YHF. I like.

i think the majority of the album will be co-comps (i remember there being an interview with tweedy saying that all the members have been involved in the writing process), though understandably all the lyrics will be jeff's.
