I've always liked Colin Powell and I'm glad he's endorsing Obama.

When I was out last night I drove past a yard with a bunch of the McCain/Palin signs. The stupid thing is that they painted over McCain's name so the signs all just said Palin. Do these people really want a Palin presidency? Who can possibly want that?

I answered this in another thread on here. The whole part of the bible that deals with creation says that it took God 7 days. But who's to say that was 7 literal days, as in one week. Maybe those 7 days were actually millions of years. The bible also says people lived to be 900 years old, which we know isn't possible. The deacon at my church is actually the one who opened my eyes to this. I go to church because I feel it keeps me in balance. It gives me an outlet to voice my frustration with every day life and I feel a sense of peace as soon as I walk through the doors. I can pray and

QFT I also don't take the bible as literally as most, which explains the contradictions. A lot of that is just metaphors. I'm still happy being Catholic, so keep trying...

Who do you work for, ACORN?

Not all riots are racially charged. Ask the people at Michigan State.

Eh, I think I'm going to continue to be Catholic and go to church every week and every holy day. I'm happy with that.

It's good to dip fries in sweet and sour sauce, but only at McDonald's. Cryptique, I can't remember the last time I was downriver. I try not to go that way too much, so I think I'll have to wait for the one in Canton.

I thought the stammering was because he was pretending to hate holly when jan was around and he didn't want jan to know that. I'm going to look it up. It's going to bother me until I know for sure. eta: I guess it was date.

I thought Jan told Michael not to hate Holly. I had two toddlers in the room, so maybe I heard it wrong.

Looks like Kerry wasn't invited last year due to his stance on abortion, so Bush didn't go either. I've never heard of it until last night.

Where I am there are only 4 within a 15 mile radius, the closest being over 5 miles away. If I were closer to Ann Arbor, it would definitely be feasible. I take that back, there are 2 within a 10 mile radius, once I get to 12.5 miles, there are a bunch of them, many in restricted areas like Ford plants and such. Still too far for me to use for my daily banking.

I wouldn't mind joining a credit union, but the closest branch is in Ann Arbor, which is 30 miles away. Plus, I'd have a fee any time I would use an ATM around here because none of them are credit union ATMs. At least with my bank, there's a branch and an ATM in town.

Awww, that's so sweet.

I wondered what the hell he was talking about.

Are Joe the plumber and Joe six-pack the same person?
