the Byrds do good Dylan covers. In an interview, he said Dylan said he thinks Manfred Mann do the best covers of his songs. I love their version of Mighty Quinn and Just like a woman Shatner committed his biggest crime when he did Tambourine Man For me, even though Jimmy Page is part to blame, when Puff Daddy (or whatever he was called back then) 'covered' Kashmir in 1999 for the Godzilla soundtrack. The Hollies did an album of Dylan covers which was bad. Thank god we have people like Weird Al that can improve original versions through good humour

interesting! http://www.financialpost.com/related/links....html?id=569859 Celebrities come up with the oddest aliases when they want to travel incognito or escape their fans. Kate Beckinsale, for example, checks in as Sigourney Beaver. "It was a spur of the moment thing. When I was first asked my name it just came out." Her husband, however, hates it when she uses the alias when he's travelling with her. "He doesn't like it when they call to ask him something and they say, "Hello, Mr. Beaver." When Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were together, they would sometimes resort to the oddes

i always burn with Nero. But for ripping, EAC is the way to go. another more tedious way to get around it is basically play the disk on your computer. while its playing, have a recording program (most come with your soundcard) recordind what you hear. then you can chop it up into wave files and convert to mp3s i use this method to rip audio from dvds to burn to cd
-
are they the live versions of Joey that he did in 87??. or is there a studio one? A-man: get Under the red sky if you dont have it. i'm one of the few lovers of it
-
dont know if you're being sarcastic or not, but yep, he's here... posts quite regulary

> How about Desolation Row or Visions of Johanna? they're different. i love them. Even Highlands doesnt put me to sleep Joey and Sad-eyed have never done anything for me
-
I use EAC and it manages to decode them. it takes a bit longer to rip, but usually does the job. it rips the tracks as wave files, then you can convert them to mp3 http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/
