  1. of course they'll head to europe and the UK again. if they can do australia twice in less than a year, heading over the atlantic wouldnt be a problem
  2. > You exclusively date obsessed Wilco fans hmm, there's an idea!. i know a single girl that was at the last melbourne show. although she doesnt go back before YHF... fuck that! if the woman doesnt own BT or ST, its all over!. I'll forgive them for AM though
  3. > Taken out of context...this would make a great sig Mrs Slocombe has been on my mind
  4. i'll have my camera with me, so i'll take photos if they let me. i'm sure john/pat will be cool with it, but sometimes the staff at instores can be real bastards. from memory, when wilco did one in 2003 here, cameras were banned in there. as for the love police tickets, i think they were a whole 80 cents cheaper than ticketmaster. i whole 1% discount!
  5. bumpity bump for anyone that might have missed this..
  6. Don Henley's solo albums (Cant stand still, Building the perfect beast, End of the innocence)

  12. jimmy page david gilmour mississippi john hurt mark knopfler ed kuepper gordon lightfoot red shea lindsay buckingham george harrison bob dylan (only certain periods, though) robert johnston muddy waters jeff tweedy (acoustic) john fogerty roger mcguinn stephen stills ry cooder bukka white tampa red ian moss
  13. > You know the EXACT place to do the 'hand chop-cut off deal' on Heavy Metal Drummer Jay!
  14. i agree with the ugly pussy above! jay might be a good guitarist/arranger, but his vocals? - bleh i like his vocals on Cajun Angel, but thats about it
  15. when in a used CD store, you put the wilco albums at the front of the rack if there copies there when you hang around a venue for 6 hours before the show just to meet the band
  16. i was a cover band gig last night that my friend sings in. after a few pints, i yelled out "Play some wilco". about 3 songs later, i was surprised to hear them bust into Box full of letters my friend didnt know the song cause she only just joined the group, and afterwards asked me "who's Wilco"
  17. yeah, Long cut solo acoustic?. that was always given the full band treatment. the ones jeff used to play solo were Gun, Black eye, Watch me fall, Satan your kingdom must come down and Screen door. Also, the song 'Hestitation' is probably Lets Hear it for rock n roll
  18. thanks i've also got 3 interviews/articles with Mikael here. i'll scan them early next week and post them. he mentions how he preferred to meet Kermit the frog at the grammies instead of Oprah!
  19. so with the tickets, as long as have a green love police one, you get in earlier? (as opposed to the yellow ticketmaster one). i have the green one, but whats all this about stamps? ps: anyone go to byron?
  20. the same thing happened last year at the Enmore... the audience sang every word
  21. it depends on the mix. i've heard some soundboards where you're listening through headphones, when his backing vocals come in, it scares you. new madrid is a good example!
