Hey, we were at that show! And I found her to be incredibly dull and lackluster. I liked her songs well enough, but aside from her awesome shoes, there was nothing remarkable or energetic or even personable about her.

So, there are a lot of reasons for why a cut tree is better than a plastic tree. 1. Plastic is often loaded with lead. They collect dust and need to be cleaned every year. They off-gas. They are often made in China and shipped and trucked to the us on pallets that are loaded with Asian Long-Horned Beetle and Emerald Ash Borer that are going to eventually kill off all the hardwood in Colorado. Christmas Tree Farms, and selected cutting of national forest trees are a far better idea. A lot of teams that play the red sox or the yankees have started doing it. We could not get a group rate at Braves v Red sox or Giants v Red sox without buying another NON-premium game. Also, for the big phenom Stephen Strasburg's debut tomorrow at Nat's stadium, they were making people buy FOUR games to see that ONE.

Oh i remembered another peeve...When ball clubs/stadiums that routinely do not sell out because either their management sucks or their team sucks or both, require you to buy TWO games when you only want to see one "premium" game (see SF Giants, Atlanta Braves etc), and tied to that is having to pay more for a "premium" game to begin with, as if there's a penalty to sell out the stadium. Shouldn't the games that will guarantee a sell out actually be CHEAPER? I mean I get the whole "make money" business, i'm not a complete idiot, but to have to buy a ticket to see the giants play the padres just

Were you in the mezzanine because I had the same problem. OMG i thought i was going to suffocate at least 4 times. Also i thought the sound was bad, but I'd not seen a show in this new Lupo's so it is possible it is a product of the venue. I did like being up in the mezzanine and looking down on the band--the light shows often made me think we were watching as though the band was playing in hell.

caliber and i have mezzanine seats. We'll probably be wearing red sox stuff.
