What's the price of gas where you are?
jenbobblehead replied to Twisted Acres's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Premium jumped from 3.98 to 4.17 in one week, i think. -
There's no way aaron is 5 weeks old. That was such a glaring lie that it has to come back to haunt them.

Really? as soulful as "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay?" or "These Arms of Mine" or "What's Goin' on" or "Stormy Weather?"

Methinks someone might be a little too sensitive for the interwebs?

As far as I know, Wilco has yet to put other bands out of business because of its cut-throat musical practices. I doubt Wilco locks recording techs in the loft at night to keep them from stealing anything, and I have to truly wonder whether Wilco encourages the employees it has to go on welfare so that they don't have to pay for their health insurance. Also, when was the last time you saw anyone from the band in a blue smock and a yellow smiley face? I understand the idea that is trying to be conveyed here, but calling Wilco the Wal-Mart of the music world is pretty damn offensive.

So, Mommies: does Jenna need an infant car seat?
-
You know, I wondered about that, because it seems that there are some great strollers out there, and some good car seats, but when you get a travel "system" you lose a little on each.
-
Here are a few others you might consider. Some of them come in different colors too. It seems that they all claim to be "one hand" open and close, but based on the reviews it seems that doesn't actually exist. http://www.amazon.com/Graco-Quattro-Deluxe..._sbs_ba_title_4 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LNJAL...s=baby-products http://www.amazon.com/Peg-Perego-Light-Wei..._sbs_ba_title_3 that one is just a stroller, i will try to find the matching car seat. I like this one because it is YELLOW! Hm. they only have a few carseats and they don't have good reviews and none in yell

OK. I'll go pick out a safer one with better ratings. And Do Not Buy It.
-
ok, so look, i know this is going to sound bossy and I will apologize in advance, but I don't like the stroller/baby toting system you picked out. It is not rated very high for safety and other users have rated it low. I think it is the one on your amazon.com wish list. Are you sure that's the one you want? Also, since Gogo got Lyric a pony already, should I plan on sending the swimming pool?

Wow. I totally had an iPod hate afternoon. i also have a 30 g and it just isn't enough--i had to take off all the wilco live shows because they take up almost 18 g. I need a bigger one. with video. is it really worth it to have the video? I am about to start a job and will be commuting by train at least 1 hour in each direction....

she was probably worrying about whether you were rotting your brain with the idiot box.

I honestly cannot imagine how anyone would think that you are dumb. Really. I'm being serious. PS Yeti is back to his usual weight. Please let Eleanor know. I know she's been worried.

I am not surprised that children of train engineers are screwed up.

as an aside, my niece reads a lot more than I ever did and I READ A LOT as a teenager because i was a nerd and didn't have a social life. Two years ago, the two of us were reading some of the same books (not just Harry Potter) but I do not know how she stacks up (get it? library stacks?? hahahahah) against her cohort at high school.

I have a niece who is 14 who is a delight. She rarely writes in goofy L33T speak, she is mindful of her elders, a straight A student in a very competitive high school, a good friend and sweet kid to her friends, and her pets and her family, etc, and a healthy sense of outrage at bad politics and bad behavior by others. But I'll tell you this: the child has no common sense whatsoever, and I suspect it will be after graduate school that she'll actually hold a real job. I am not sure she even knows how to use the stove and I am not sure that my sister leaves her home alone unless my dad is aro
