oh i know! i had to have some tests done (not DNA) and they told me it would take up to 3 weeks to get the results. i kept thinking, "if they were doing this on CSI i would have my results by the end of the hour!!" six feet under is amazing.

i thought it seemed odd that he was billed for ACL as conor oberst and not bright eyes. he's playing with a different band, something valley band? mystic valley? i dunno. he's also doing an austin city limits taping that weekend. i hope i can get into that one!

oh oh collective soul! i used to LOVE them. i hear they're still pretty good but i haven't heard any of their recent stuff.

dude, yes. i even played it for a friend who isn't very familiar with wilco and he was like, "uh, doesn't that sound like wilco??" i think that song is a joke. it's boring and creepy. and i know that ben said it's "supposed" to be creepy but i still don't like it.

yeah, i'm going to save my money and just go to "late" shows every night. and i'll actually have time to try to get into ACL tapings!

i had already decided i was going to skip this year. i've gone every year and last year really wore me down. i'm glad that the lineup is going to allow me to skip this festival without feeling like i'm missing anything. a lot of the bands that i would be interested in seeing were just here for sxsw. i find it interesting that the same people produce lollapalooza and that festival clearly got the superior lineup. why did they shaft acl??

oh yay, this is good news! i am going to see her tomorrow night and had no idea what to expect. i've been waiting 2 years to see her live and i didn't want to be disappointed.

i think it's my favorite ed norton movie. and i think it has more depth than remember the titans.

i always clap along, even at home! i love songs that involve hand claps (hello space oddity!) so i take any excuse to clap along.

he's really fantastic live. i happen to love him. i'm glad he annoys you.
