salt lake city would be my guess.

apparently mlb thinks it was intentional

i have a friend who would definitely pay you face value for your white stripes tickets. maybe even a little more.

i freakin' love the harmonica in that song. when i saw jeff solo he was like, "really, the harmonica is not that big of a deal in this song! it's nothing to freak out about!" or something along those lines. but i disagree! the harmonica is my favorite instrument for some reason. i blame it on the fact that i was raised listening to neil young.

i had my first migraine when i was in preschool, according to my mother. i don't remember having any problems after that until i was about 10 . anything from perfume/body spray, shampoo, and air freshener can set me off, as well as changes in the barometric pressure. i've had a handful of TIAs and one seizure, which they can't find the cause of. i've begun getting injections of steroids and anesthetic into my occipital nerve. it hurts like hell while it's being done, and for a few days after, but it really does help cut down on my headaches. it was kind of a last resort thing...we had

Predictions for Wilco's Tonight Show appearance?
Stefanie replied to unposed_question's topic in Just A Fan
at least the other guests on tonight's show are worth watching, mostly. -
when you consider who they're playing this weekend, resting joba for 2 days doesn't seem like that big of a deal. they can't only rely on this kid to get the job done anyway.
-
well you didn't even see the game and those of us who did don't know either. no one will ever know.
-
bright eyes! the recent tour has been AWESOME!!
-
i got 2 free tickets to see the flaming lips just by registering on camelsmokes.com! i don't smoke 'em but i'll sure take the free tickets
-
i really don't think joba was throwing at him on purpose. if he had wanted to hit youk, he would have hit him...simple as that. i'm not really sure what he was doing but i don't think it was intentional. he's too green in the game to be acting like roger clemens just yet

i think it is crappy but i can't imagine that stubb's wouldn't book ANYONE to play there on saturday night. whoever they book is going to sell the place out. that's a lot of revenue that charles attal can't turn is back to.

only if you wish to bring bad concert karma upon yourself...

all of my friends laughed at me for counting. but they had never seen wilco before so they didn't know that the number of "nothings" is different all the time!
-
yeah, i knew about those restrooms but it was closer for me to go to the ones by the stage. i didn't know it was going to take FOREVER though. after waiting for a few minutes i decided to keep waiting because i didn't think it could be that much longer. needless to say, i won't be waiting for those restrooms again if i ever go back to the fillmore!
-
i've heard it with the full band and jeff solo. it was amazing, of course.
-
i think i'm just used to GA only venues...pretty much everything in austin is like that. i saw rodrigo y gabriela/gomez/robert randolph at the fillmore last year and i really liked it! the only thing i didn't like about that place was having to wait for the crew to finish loading/unloading equipment so i could get through to go to the bathroom.

i wish i had gotten pictures at this show! we were in the "visa signature VIP section" so i couldn't really take any good pictures from there. it was an amazing view though! i read earlier in the thread that there were 42 "nothings" during misunderstood. i know someone shouted that out during the show but i thought i counted 40. yes, i actually counted. it was the first time i've ever been sober enough (at least i thought i was!) to count them.
-
i would rather see wilco at the fillmore than red rocks any day of the week. but could they fill RR? i think it's likely.
-
back to the show. i flew all the way from texas for this show and i was not disappointed at all. the weather was perfect for an outdoor show and other than the steep steps, the venue was gorgeous. i thought the band had some really great energy, better than i've seen from them in a while. the crowd was kind of mellow but i blame that on the fact that 85% of them were smoking pot. i was with 8 people who had never seen wilco before, i'm glad they got to see such a great show for their first time!
-
yeah, talking during a show is one thing but i don't think i've ever heard anyone complain about the crowd singing along. in the sunken treasure dvd jeff says that a sing along is one of his favorite things in the world. i know several bands that love to be able to hear the crowd singing. it's exciting!

dylan is confirmed for the festival on 9/16...not for stubb's.
-
when the lineup was first released i heard from a very reliable source that bob dylan was going to play at stubb's on saturday night. i think the reason stubb's is still open is because they might still be trying to secure that. if it falls through, i have no doubt that wilco will play there instead. or maybe wilco will open for dylan if that show ends up happening.
