  5. Just received a recent edition of Paste Magazine and was thrilled to see a letter to the editor regarding the recent SBS review by Geoffrey Himes: "Shame on Geoffrey Himes for his review of the latest Wilco release. His attempt to recast the groundbreaking Yankee Hotel Foxtrot as "self-indulgently obscurantist" with "little...substance" is as misguided as it is unfounded. Firstly, I'll gladly refund him the price of the album if he can "heap randon sound effects on...tracks" with a 10th of the ingenuity of "Ashes of American flags" or "I am Trying to Break your Heart." 13. I thought the song was actually about recovery.
  14. I think the Carefree is closed/closing. The Pompano Beach Ampitheater would be nice. I missed the Carefree shows, I did see Morphine there - a great place to see a band.
  15. It's been a long time, I think Pompano Beach, since they played down here (not counting Langerado). We are due...
  16. I liked the Latrobe show but have been to better. There is this aura of uncomfortability that inevitably arises when there is a loud drunk guy screaming in between songs. There is this sort of walking on egg shells feeling when you hear some dude screaming. Don't get me wrong, I hate it - but I found myself waiting for Jeff to confront the dude instead of enjoying the show.
