On the credits to Summerteeth theres a thank you to "Steve Tweedy" i think, dont have it to hand but its def sombody with Tweedy surname, who is this, Jeffs dad or bro? Also as an aside, didnt he say in an interview reently he doesnt have much contact with one of his brothers due to addiction issues or something ?

Spoke to Mikael at Indian Summer in Glasgow and they are doing fall tour which apparently includes a date in Ireland in November

The band were amazing, great to finally see them on this tour. We flew over from Ireland just for them and it was an awesome festival, very small. The band were walking around all day and anybody could have met them. First I met was Mikael, he was looking at the t shirt and vinyl stalls, very cool and sorta softly spoken guy and he said that he wasnt sure exactly about Ireland, but the plan is Europe again in Fall sometime. Was looking at Latitude but ended up going for Indian Summer Fest in Glasgow instead, cheaper Ryanair flights from Dublin. Wilco are headlining on the Saturday night. Was hoping to see Roskilde setlist to get an idea if they're festival setlist has changed much since the last Europe fests but so far no joy. Teenage Fanclub at Connect? Theres a special guest to be announced for Indian Summer on Main Stage Saturday evening around 6 or 7 so since its in Scotland maybe Teenage Fanclub????

A torrent is no problem, but the point is I wanna hear a show live, why else bother. If downloading a show is good enough why would anybody tune in at all? The main issue is the fact that the problem hasnt been addressed by anybody in an official capacity, makes no sense at all.

Yeah the tracks are on the net, but the real problem is the next exclusive webcast where you need to have the SBS enhanced CD in you're drive. Most of us spent half the London show trying to work it and there hasnt been much said about it since. If we knew the content wasnt available from the start then we'd have bought the US version on the net.

Anybody know if Wilco are playing Electric Picnic in Ireland over last wknd of Aug/1st wknd of Sept? They were announced unoffically at the beginning, were even mentioned as playing in the Irish Times, but since then theres hasnt been a word. Anybody ???????????

Bought mine in Dublin and there is def no .mov, just the 12 audio tracks. I dont live in the UK so the "you can just go the show" argument is pointless. This sucks mainly because we didnt know and spent a long sunday night trying to launch the player.

Thats what I did, inserted CD and didnt do anything, then tried to open it in explorer and just the 12 tracks, and opened it with quicktime and also nothing ????? Whats done is done by now I guess !

So i'm trying to figure whats up with my copy of SBS, there is no extra track on the cd to open with quicktime when I was trying last night, just the normal 12 tracks ?? So did I do something wrong or what ?

I got that EP in Tower Records in Dublin today, so if we have it then eberybody must as well sincew we're hardly Wilco's biggest market

Got the album, its out today in Ireland. Golden Discs (a music chain here) are puttin it in at no22 in the charts from pre sales alone which is pretty good for a shop like that
