I don't think it's plagiarism at all. the first time i listened to it, when the guitar came in I thought "wow, that sounds like George Harrison, cool". and i still think it's great that nod to George.

that's ok, but it still sucks. not the idea of a green packaging (which is great), but the actual artifact. specially the way the disc is stuck there.
-
ok, here's what i hate about the DVD: the package (i really hate those cardboard things) and the lack of subtitles in any language -once again-. otherwise it's great.

Didn't he mention Wilco in last week's War show?

I think he really mean it. He also played Times they are a-Changing, Masters Of War and John Brown. I don't think he has played all those together very often this year. -

i love the drawings of my 4 year old son more than any Van Gogh painting, but that doesn't mean that my son is better than Van Gogh.

oh, man. Jeff sounds amazing. he has never sung better. but since the tracklist was published i always assumed it was Jeff solo, do we know who is the backing band? those called Million Dollar Bashers? -
nearly half of SBS sounds to me like a Tweedy solo album.

lately i've been listening a lot to the 2007 Living Room concerts and i'm really surprised how great the songs from AGIB sound with just an acoustic guitar. and i was wondering, has anyone done a compilation with the best solo acoustic performances of the songs from AGIB?

well, i wouldn't call 20 minutos a big newspaper. you know, it's one of those free newspapers they give away in the streets. on the other hand, Jeff is on the cover of 2 of the most important music magazines in Spain. but anyway, here's a rough translation: "Uno de los regresos m

i'm in Spain and my copy (of the CD+DVD pack) has the "enhanced CD" logo, so it doesn't seem to be an "USA only" feature.

i don't know if this has been posted before, but here in Spain in the last couple of weeks there's a mobile phone TV ad that uses the string part of Jesus, etc.
