For the most part the songs aren't as strong as the ones that graced his last few releases for sure. This is just an EP, so I'm hoping there's a full length coming soon that brings the better material. NP:

It's Johnston not Johnson . I liked Can You Fly and This Perfect World. Nothing else really grabbed me as much.

It was good to see Jon Hamm hosting. Hopefully this will get more people watching Mad Men, which happens to be the best show on TV right now.

I don't listen to music when I go jogging (no iPod) but if I did that would be a perfect song to exercise to. Okay, that's not quite true, I do listen to music when I use a treadmill, those days I can't run outside. Living where I do, I will be forced to use that damn treadmill on a regular basis soon enough.

I agree with those that find the goodness in At War with the Mystics. It's not my favorite, but it is much better than many would have you believe. Even a song like Yeah Yeah Yeah isn't without its charms (it's a fun pop song with great hooks.)

Probably my favorite Kate Bush song. I've haven't seen the movie, but the song moves me to tears nevertheless.

What a ridiculous turn of events. I hope things get rectified and she's awarded her 1st place medal like she deserves, and earned.

I watched Psych Out ages ago, finally got around to seeing The Trip. And what a trip it is. Oh the swirling colors, and strange figures on horseback. It was pretty entertaining, and funny, and it somehow manages to straddle the line between being anti-drug and pro-acid.

It must have been "date" judging by his stammering reaction afterwards.
