  1. I agree with you bböp about the non-stop yapping. It's so hard to ignore. As Jerry Seinfeld once said, "People, they're the worst". That's why, when they play the Chicago Theatre, we get secluded Box #8 (or similar) so I'm less bothered by talkers, texters, and buttholes. They're everywhere, even in the 90's at smaller shows. I'm not sure what's happened to the core Wilco fans...sometimes it's easier to stay home? I go back to '96-'99 seeing a smooth Tweedy face screaming during "Misunderstood" and each time wondering if he's okay only to see him let out a smile after the last, "NOTHING AT A

Wilco (The Album) I'm counting on their next four studio albums being better than Wilco (The Album); it just doesn't do it for me. P.S. I bought Being There shortly after it was released and had a copy of AM on cassette. So I've been a longtime fan. It looks like (The Album) is at the bottom of several lists...
  3. I too saw it at the Music Box for the premiere with Sam Jones' Q&A after the showing. It was strange that they showed the trailer during the previews. Sam Jones thought it was strange too. I parked near the Riv and walked to the theater so I had an easy out after the show. Tweedy's Honda was parked outside the Riv and Spongebob was still hanging from the rear-view mirror that was shown in the movie. Wilco was also on stage for soundcheck (the side door was opened) so I stood and watched a couple songs. I've been thinking about watching the DVD again...thanks for the reminder!
  4. Michael's has frame parts you can buy to fit the poster (they come in pairs). They usually have 40% off one item coupons in the paper. Then go to Home Depot and have a piece of plexiglass cut to the frame size. You have to pay for the full sheet but it's worth it...
  5. That's exactly what I was going to say...
  6. I can't believe I got through the week without getting sick! I took Emergen-C every day. Being back to work Tues-Thurs at 6am sucked. Get Well Soon!
  7. Indeed...but it was nice that they came out for a last goodbye.
  8. All of the above from me and I love you... Thank you!

  10. The broadcast had about a one minute delay; I brought a small FM receiver just to check. As far as the WXRT guys being annoying and such...they usually do that banter for live shows simply because it's live and an event. Any other city would be lucky to have XRT. The number of live shows over the years has been incredible. I am very thankful. I thougt the commentary on wardrobe and rug were funny...I think they know they were being corny. Thanks again to Wilco!
  11. Well done! I love the arrangement on Pot Kettle Black.
  12. I'm a long-time Wilco fan (I'm 40) and I don't have a problem with people being nuts at a rock show, I have a big problem with the number of people who are constantly talking. I sat in the first row of the balcony and I can't understand why the talkers are even there. My recording turned out pretty good for upstairs. Wilco is a top notch under appreciated band. I think one of the Sound Opinions dorks put it best as it will be 20 years down the road that they will be truly appreciated for their work. THANK YOU WILCO! It really shows how you feel about your fans. Nice pricing on the
