  1. This album may be my least favorite yet. Which is slightly disappointing. On the first few listens I liked this album much more than Sky Blue Sky. Honestly Solitaire and Country Disapeared have been my favorites from the beginning and I have grown to like them more. Songs I can do without are One Wing, I'll Fight and Wilco the song. I'm mostly into their live performance at this point anyway. Even when I listen to them it's almost always the audio from the Ashes download, the Residency Night 1 bootleg or Kickin' TV.
  2. No smoking. Understandable but I hope they allow some ins and outs if I want to step away from the crowd for a cigarette. Did we already know the art or is this new too?
  3. I have tossed a Clarksburg Reservation back to them. I cancelled and will be mailing in my deposit for my Windsor Lake Reservation. People should post here if they get their tickts in the mail as well. I'm hoping they will be coming soon!
  4. I am in SF right now so I will converse more next week but I wanted to let you all know Windsor lake got back to me and I'm reserved there as well. Put a call in and she will get back to you.
  5. I can't wait for more information to come out. I have a crazy busy couple of months to keep me busy at least. I'm off to San Fran tomorrow to see a couple of Faith No More shows then a weekend at Coachella, then the National in L.A. next month and off to Sasquatch at the end of May. I love life. I can't wait to hang out with some of you and camp. I'm still calling it WilcoFest for the record. I damn near forgot about the Roger Waters The Wall tour, that's going to round out the year perfectly.
  6. They are playing two shows though. I wonder what time they are playing Sunday. I hope they are done well before 6 or this could really screw things up for me. I don't see any flights that would get me home in time for work Tuesday AM that leave later than 6PM. Which means I really shouldn't get out of town any later than 3PM or so. I guess we'll find out in due time.
  7. FWIW I have left 2 messages and sent an e-mail and have heard nothing more about Windsor Lake. I will be sending another e-mail to someone with the city who said to contact her if no one got back to me. I have also learned that drinking is not allowed in any Mass state parks. I'm not sure if that rule applies to the city park of Windsor Lake or not.
  8. pwned lol I am booked at Clarksburg.
  9. I think i'm giving up on the other site and booking here. Three nights for $51.25 can't be beat. I have a question. How many tents can you put in one spot? If you have 3-4 people can you put two tents in one spot? I'm about to reserve on line for three nights Thursday - Saturday.
  10. Does no one know how to use google maps?! lol
  11. I received and e-mail back from Windsor Lake Campground. We have staff at the campground who are there now even though their season doesn't begin to May 15th. There is a phone 413-662-3198 which you may leave a message at and they will return your call to book sites for the intended date. If you don't receive a response in a timely fashion, please feel free to contact me again. I have put in two messages, yesterday and today. Hopefully they call Monday so I can get this squared away soon.
  12. Just spoke to MoCa on the phone. They are being sneaky about total number of tickets but she did say it was somewhere between 5K and 10K total capacity She said she wasn't certain on how many have sold because she hasn't received online sales numbers yet.
  13. I went with hard tickets the traditional USPS way. Now i'm thinking I could have saved a few bucks but maybe they look cool or something.
  14. Dare I say it's not so cool to make multiple reservations just because you're paranoid? Come on man. You're hoarding and people here are in desperate need of rooms right now. I got my ticket!!
  15. I will be there. In fact I can't effing wait for it!
  16. never let other people's lack of interest stop you from doing anything I learned this a while ago. I'm flying from Phoenix and I don't know anyone and you're only a few hours drive! I guess I better prepare to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale tomorrow as well. I hate unexpected expenses but I'll make it work.
  17. This is what I thought about. I only made it to night one of the Residency but it was sooo worth it. I tried getting tickets outside for the 2nd night but nobody was selling. This is going to be such an amazing and unique experience and i'm totally digging the location even though it's the other side of the damn country. I'm damn near giddy about this which is why I have more posts in the last 2 days than I probably had total for the past several years.
  18. I'm gonna hold out for the campground info. Even if I have to camp a bit futher out of town it's going to be a couple hundred bucks cheaper than a hotel. I don't mind driving to the event each day even though it sounds like parking is going to be difficult.
  19. Interesting. I have a call and an e-mail into someone with the city who was listed as contact info on that page. I'm guessing i'll have an answer by tomorrow. I did speak to the lady today and she wasn't even aware she was listed as the contact person for the camp site. Then she gave me a number to call and it was for the cemetary. lol. I called back and she apologized and gave me another number but it was for the Historic Valley Campground and I left a message there. Though the lady on the phone did say that campground was walking distance if you like a STEEP hike and didn't mention it
  20. I was looking at those but they all seemed a bit far. Why didn't you include the one that's close to MOCA by the lake? Just curious.
  21. I think i'm almost sold on camping. It's just too beautiful up there and so much cheaper. I mean the lake, the trees the August nights. I have a call in as I can't seem to find anywhere to reserve on line. I am looking into this place that was recommended earlier in the thread. http://northadams-ma.gov/index.php?nav_id=75
  22. Mind you, I was stoned as shit but I could swear when I looked on the day this was announced (Tuesday?) I saw prices at that holiday in between 100-120.
  23. Thanks for the info Mizzy and the repost of the billboard article Worshipper. Anyone else interested in the renting a car/camping idea? Would be cool to coordinate to where we can share the cost of a rental and camp in North Adams and commute back and forth to venue and stuff. I'm also down for any type of meetup. I'm going to look at more of these Hotel and B&B options as well but you can't beat the price of camping.
  24. Thanks for the tip, I am flying from the west. If I fly into Albany will I somehow not need a car?
