I hear it but yes it's choppy. I blame quick time. I wish they would abandon using quick time but i'm grateful they give us anything. The Nels solo at the end here sounds extra stellar.

I need a joint.

Scary, you don't know genres much eh? *snicker* I think we are all hearing jazz.

I got nothing on the road case yet. The .mov link is working though.

That's what I thought. So lets hope we get something fun like that again.

What was wrong with the after show banter?

Hello friends.

Sandy, my apologies. I try to type and respond quickly and I end up being an ass, so i'm sorry you are correct as well, the show I was talking about with Calexico was in November of 2004. They played Flagstaff in April 2005 right around the time of the Coachella gig. Anyway I didn't mean to offend and I understand I was coming across dickish and I apologize, since you work at the Mesa arts does that mean you will be at the Sunvolt/Cowboy Junies show there in a few weeks or so? I'm still considering that one and haven't made up my mind. The crowd in Tempe at the Marquee is usually decent a

Just to join in on the stickling, the name of the song is spiders, not kidsmoke. So, I just got off the phone with another friend at the show who informed me as he was in the lobby about 3 songs before the end to use the bathroom, he overheard security/usher types bragging of how they got people to sit down who were standing. He questioned them as to why they would do that at a rock show to which they replied 'because it's a seated venue'. My friend told them that was ridiculous and the punk kid employee said "you don't have to come to shows here". He walked away stunned. I certainly

I'm not sure where you were but the entire pit sat the whole show until the encores. I was 4th row and I kept looking back and there is no way even 10% of the crowd was standing during the show. Once they played I'm the Man Who Loves you through the end people stood but the entire first half of the show there could not have been more than 50 people sprinkled throughout the crowd standing. It was driving me nuts so much so i'm still ranting about it *lol*

I had it typed as Poor>Reservations>Spiders so i'm not sure what you mean *lol* you are right about the date though, I live in Phoenix so it was a little drive for me as well so it was late. Edit, I have the correct date in the title?!

The crowd was into Kingpin but it was like they were off on the scream part a bit. Jeff did the "how can I" and people screamed as he was saying the "I" or something. I dunno, the crowd was simply off. I was so happy to be hearing reservations though. I did see the exchange with the guy in the pit but I wasn't aware he was on his cell phone. People are terrible. I almost always go to shows in Tucson because the crowd is better. Had that show been at The Rialto it would have been better. I have to believe the no beer and seated theater combo killed any chance of a vibe. I've seen th

Coming into tonight's gig I had some concerns about the venue. It's seated and you can't bring beer in. I'm not much of a drinker at shows myself but it sounds like a bit of a vibe killer. As far as seated goes, people actually sat at a rock concert. Like, all of Grizzly Bear and all of Wilco until the encore. I should start by saying both bands put on a beautiful show. I actually found myself enjoying Wilco's set more tonight than I did at Bonnaroo. The problem is the rest of the crowd didn't feel that way or thought they were at the symphony. I finally had to stand because I couldn't

Sure and maybe you just need to be more specific. I'm literal and I don't post much so i'll take some of the blame. We both know you will get a different set list in July. How different is the real question. hell, I am wondering how different the set list tomorrow night will be in Tucson. I'm thinking very different because it's not a festival but who knows. I just hope the band is on. I've been looking forward to this show for a while and it's their first show in Tucson in like a decade I think. Like literally. It's also their first show in Arizona since 2006 so i've had to travel to

You set yourself up for disapointment. Crticizing a band you love for not playing exactly what you want to hear every single time is ridiculous. I realize and do not forget that most of us have seen them mulitple times. The average die hard fan probably only gets to see them a few times a year. I understand that there are die hards that have seen them hundreds of times but it's ridiculous to wait for some ultra rare or custom set list. They flat out rock live and are one of the most versatile bands with their setlists so if people aren't happy, they are being ultra picky. This band plays

How awesome is it that people are complaining about a greatest hits show? I think there is something wrong with you those of you who have that criticism. Personally, i'm glad my favorite band in the world didn't try to shove the entire new album down my throat and try to sell it to me from the stage constantly. What an awesome set that was and I was so happy to be front and near the center on the rail for it! I can't wait for Thursday to see them in Tucson with Grizzly Bear. This is going to be magic! Then off to Red Rocks in a couple of weeks. ......... wah wah they played a grea

I did not like Sky Blue Sky and never embraced the album tracks but live they came to life. I like this album instantly. Nels shreds, the duet with feist is fucking beautiful and this is an absolute evolution of the band.

I think I hate all seats venues more than I hate no alcohol in the seating area venues. I think seats at a rock concert seriously fucks with the vibe in a bad way. I liked to stand and rock out and hate being constricted by seats.
-
Holds around 2,500 seats. All seats no standing. No alcohol in the seating area. I'm not pleased with the venue choice. They haven't played Tucson in a decade they should be at the Rialto and it would have sold out fairly fast but us die hards would have had tickets to a show at probably the best venue in the state.

I got row 36 booo. I had no idea about the GA i just assumed it was lawn seating or something. Another tip is there is another presale through the radio station tomorrow so maybe they will have different or closer seats. Not sure which station but i'm sure someone here will have details and a password. I can't wait for this show.
-
What time does the presale start for Red Rocks? Is it 10am pacific? I can't seem to locate the specific time. edit...found it, sorry to waste the space. On Sale Wednesday April 22nd at 10am MT (11am CT) * JUL-3 Red Rocks, Morrison, CO I think that's 9:00am in Arizona.

Alright guys, I just got back from Coachella and the day before I went I decided to switch up travel plans and go to this Red Rocks show. I'm fairly convinced that The Gorge in Washington is the most beautiful venue in the country and Red Rocks is probably second. I have never been but seeing my favorite band in this beautiful venue seems to perfect to pass up. Especially since the venue they chose in Tucson really sucks. No beer and all seats. wtf?! Anyway I am in and I am there! I can't wait! I will also be seeing them at Bonnaroo so 3 times this year. Woo hoo!
