  1. It doesn't matter that much, but it's always great to re-live the moment.. Everytime I listen to a show I've been to (Charlotte 6-20-07 for example), it really takes me back... Good times..
  2. Interpol - Turn On Your Bright Lights (probably my favorite driving album of all time) I usually like to listen to live albums while traveling. Pink Floyd - Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live My Morning Jacket - Okonos Phish - Junta Hum - You'd Prefer An Astronaut No Knife - Fire in the City of Automatons Oh yeah, and anything by this band called Wilco
  3. It is kind of sad. I didn't realize they parted ways on such bad terms. How Jeff explained how they hardly said two words to each other... I saw a guy I hadn't seen in 10 years back at X-mas, and even though we sort of left on bad terms as well, we forgot about the bad things and just laughed and shot the shit.
  4. Listening to nothing but Wilco on an 18 hour drive (all albums, singles, side projects, etc.).. And it never got old..
  5. Yeah that's a bit much. But I'm sure Wilco would be happy to hear that. $$$
  6. I think so. And I think he's hanging from cables, suspended above the stage.
  7. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trey_Anastasio I believe his latest work has been in his solo group "Trey Anastasio Band", but he is best known as the lead guitarist/vocalist for Phish. He has also been involved with several other groups and projects. I think a lot of people would agree that he's one of the greatest guitarist that has ever lived.. Very technical player with amazing feel. Just listen to Phish's album "Junta".. That's some of his best work. Especially on the song "You Enjoy Myself".. Pure genius..
  8. Man, I can't believe I forgot Trey Anastasio.. That guy is a beast.
  9. I see a lot of people dig Jim James.. Yes, he's pretty damn bad ass. I think mostly for the guitar riffs he writes and not just his solo's.. All though he can tear it up in that department as well.
  10. Is that show still on? Deadwood? I thought it kicked a lot of ass. Very raw. .
  11. http://forums.viachicago.org/index.php?sho...ic=34373&hl= I'm very proud of my little thread..
  12. Ok, I'm quitting my job and applying there..
  13. The new poster for The Clone Wars movie. In case you care. Again, the animation is.. interesting.. But cool if you are into the whole "artsy" look.
  14. I don't leave the (bullet hole filled) equipment vehicle without it!
  15. Wow.. Well I work in IT, and for some reason every IT company I have been with has been strict with drug testing... I guess they don't want stoner's working on servers or what have you "what's this button do..." I can actually see how pot would be beneficial to journalism. Gives you a more open minded point of view. But I'm sure you don't get high on the job do you?
  16. Had a bad brownie experience.. I forgot who I was for a few hours.. I ate one, and thought "gee, this isn't doing anything..".. Ate another, then went to sleep.. Woke up at about 4 in the morning, and I literally did not know who I was.. Total amnesia.. And it's weird because that's back when I was a heavy pot smoker. So I stopped brownies after that.. I also don't smoke anymore, haven't for years.. Mostly because of job drug tests, and I prefer to booze it up... Sorry, I know this thread was supposed to be about wiki..
  17. Coming from a lead guitarist, regardless if I try to bring further attention to myself, I will be the center of attention while I'm playing a lead.. That's the whole point of being a lead guitarist. I don't purposely try to be the center of attention, that's just my purpose in the band (while I'm playing a lead that is).
  18. Yes! I think we deserve it.. Two nights at The Handle Bar in Greenville!!
  19. Yeah, on second thought, those shows would be much better. Especially Greenville (since I'm moving there).. But also, because The Peace Center would be the perfect venue for them. The only time they have played in Greenville SC was at The Greenville Braves Baseball Stadium, in 1997. That was my first Wilco show.
  20. Exactly I think it would be a good way to make it up to us.. Don't you agree watch me fall?
