Yep, Jason is way over due to go, but unfortunately the majority of the voters are teenie bopper kids that aren't intersted in the talent, but the pretty faces.. That's how David A. has survived so long.. I still think Jason looks like a Muppet.

Well I said maybe it's genius, but I don't know if it is or not.. But it's certainly unique. I've never been a huge MMJ fan, but I can't stop listening to this record.

Ok, so here's my take on the album so far. To quote my earlier post I've only listened to the album twice in it's entirety, but maybe this album truly is genius. I don't really think they are going in a new direction, but they just really went out on a limb with this one.. The first two songs are my favorite of the album.. I agree that Jim does remind me of Prince on those tunes.. "Highly Suspicious"... Ummmm.. I'm gonna skip that one.. But hey, I get a good laugh out of it. He's definitely shy indeed. I met Rivers and Pat at a show back in 97.. Rivers was VERY drunk.. He hardly said a single word and didn't smile much.. He just seemed awkward and nervous.. Pat was really cool though.

Icehouse - It's cheap everywhere.. Tastes like piss, but it doesn't take too many to get going. And yes, it does leave a nasty hangover.. Anyone ever have this? I have seen a lot of Bush Light lately.. My band has played a few frat/sorority parties around the south lately, and almost all of them have been supplying Bush Light.. It definitely falls into the Pisswater catagory in my book.. But it's still beer and I drink it when it's free..

Yeah, the versus definitely remind me of Beverly Hills.. Plain and generic.. But boy the chorus makes up for it.. The guitar is so beefy and it just Rocks.. I like the tune a lot. But you make a good point Chompsky.. Weezer has had a cheesy song on every album.. Sweater song, El Scorcho, etc. etc.. I think they are trying to be funny, but it's just hard for me to stomach Beverly Hills..

Finally got my email, and it says that the pre-sale for NC is today.. But the site still says April 30th and it's not mentioned on Music Today.. Maybe the Wilco staff has been taking the pot again.

Even though I'm a PC man, a MAC sounds like a good fit for what you do. Even though eventually, you'll run into something that you used to be able to do on a PC and you can't on a MAC.. But, just the fact that a new PC will come with Windows Vista is reason enough to get a MAC. Get a external USB hard drive to move your files.. Plus, it'll be a great place to back-up your data in the future.

For the larger concerts, there are both assigned seats and GA lawn seats. The total capacity is 7,000 with 1,000 for the reserved seating. It looks like a pretty cool venue.. Even if you get the lawn seats, they are still pretty close.
