Agreed.. I've been in bands my whole life, played on many records, and it's actually rare for the whole band to be together when recording individual parts. Most of the time, all of the parts have been worked out ahead of time, and everyone knows exactly what they are going to be recording before they do it. The only time it's important for everyone to be there is during mixing, and even then not everyone is always together. Yeah, there must be some really good weed going around or something..

I agree 100% They've always been great musicians. Just listen to Chocolate & Cheese.. So many different styles, they can play it all.

My friends and I once had a conversation; if everyone had a theme music, what would it be? Mine would be Freedom '76 by Ween. I can just picture myself strolling down the street with that song playing in background...

Wow, that's pretty sad. I mean I guess that was their "hit", but they have had a strong following for 15 or so years now in the states. Incredible musicians.

My wife took these of our dog Lucy: This one was snapped mid-yawn: And I posted this because I just like it:

Happy b-day.

I'd probably go if it was Ween (full band) and not just Gene Ween.. I heard they put on an amazing show.

Ah, for some reason I thought Nels was at Barley's too. Even though we missed Barley's, we still got to enjoy some New Castles on tap (wife had a few too many) at The Orange Peel.

I actually like Low, but I just don't think they put on a very good live show. I'm actually looking forward to A Hawk and a Hacksaw.. I have a pretty open mind when it comes to music. Especially since I'll have a couple beers in me when they take the stage.

Sounds yum.. Yeah, I still regret missing Barley's with you and that guy named....... Nels Cline..

My band is opening for them.. Not really, but that would be awesome. A Hawk and a Hacksaw? That'll be... interesting.....

This pretty good. It basically explains the stimulus, and how pointless it really is: Stimulus Payment Info. "This year, taxpayers will receive an Economic Stimulus Payment. This is a very exciting new program that I will explain using the Q and A format: Q. What is an Economic Stimulus Payment? A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers. Q. Where will the government get this money? A. From taxpayers. Q. So the government is giving me back my own money? A. Only a smidgen. Q. What is the purpose of this payment? A. The plan is that you wil

Hey, it's still a Wilco show no matter where you sit. It'll still be awesome. Greenville, SC eh? That's my hood.

That's pretty good. "You came in those pants? You're braver than I thought!"

If You Seek A One State Depression; Look About You

I wish I had the option of being unemployed if it came to it... But I lose my job, I'm royally fucked.. I'm the sole bread earner in my family.... Maybe I shouldn't be taking that trip to Gettysburg after all... edit: and that's the way many folks feel these days.. They are worried they are going to lose their jobs, so they don't take vacations, buy cars, etc. -

I'm sure the view is amazing, but I'm just not sure I could do it.. And I start getting dizzy when I go up for than 30 feet or so. I have to use a scissor lift for my job sometimes to get to wireless access points, and I get dizzy just doing that.. So I'm not into the climbing. I LOVE primitive camping though. I go backpacking in the Blue Ridge Mountains every summer. -

I work for a global IT service provider and things are real bad.. The big companies aren't doing so well these days, so one of the first places they look to cut cost is IT.. My company has lost several contracts recently and they are starting layoffs, pay cuts, etc.. My dad works in the automotive industry, and obviously his job is also in jeopardy. Things suck pretty bad right now. The wife and I have a baby on the way, and we're pretty concerned about the future.. But I said it before and I'll say it again, there will always be beer. -

Seminary. Seminary ridge is the strip of land between the town of Gettysburg, and Little Round Top. Cemetery Hill is the hill on the north side of Seminary Ridge where the bulk of the Union troops were positioned during the battle. You are correct, the battlefield has been cleared out of many trees (sorry tree huggers) to make it look as it did in 1863. I'll be going in April, first time since I was a little kid. -

Yeah, that's usually how battlefields on when you see them in real life, especially the ones that have been preserved so well. It's amazing that nearly 200,000 men fought in a relatively small area. -

I would say Gettysburg. It's the site of the greatest battle even fought on American soil, where Lincoln gave his famous Gettysburg address, and the battle of Gettysburg was the turning point of the Civil War which led to the preservation of the Union. Everyone should visit it once in their life time. -
That place sounds awesome.. That's definitely no. 1 for my choice so far.
