I doubt it. What the administration has skillfully done has marked any information that comes out against the President as fake and not to be trusted. This is not for the whole of America, but to the President's supporters (including those in the GOP). So a story comes out, it is not trusted by a majority of the electorate and people and in power therefore it is ignored or ridiculed by the supporters. So for the next 48-72 hours this will be a big deal. The Sunday shows will be all a buzz about this. Come Monday, it will vanish. Anything this President does will not have the sticking

Ugh, that speech last night was frightening. Not that what the President said was scary or his policies were scary (they really are BTW). But it was in the manner in which he said it. For the first time in nearly two years he sounded more presidential, more like a politician. It is almost like he read all of the criticisms and then said here you go, see I am not a bad guy (ie speaking out against the Antisemitism, recent shootings, etc.) It was kinda like when your wife says you don't bring me flowers and then the next day you go out and buy flowers. It is not cause you wanted to, it is

Any guesses on the President's big speech tonight?

I don't think so. Not to say by not making for of the President at the WHCD will make people love the media again, but it could begin something. Eventually The President's policies will begin affecting the Americans who voted for him in very real ways. FoxNews, Brietbart, weird Right Wing Blogs are not going to tell this story. The media needs to begin regain the trust of all Americans. This can happen, it is not going to be easy, it is not going to be fun, but it has to be done.

So, was talking to a friend today about The President's choice to sit out of the White House Correspondent's Dinner (WHCD). I came the conclusion that many who dislike The President are looking at the WHCD as a way for the press and others to just eviscerate the President, make jokes and basically rip on him for the complete D-bag that he is. Personally I think this is the wrong way of going about it. Already a large swath of the American People look at the media with scorn and contempt. To spend a night ripping on The President with him not in attendance is truly bad form and would fur

Reverse the election, without hesitation.

The only good amendment is the 2nd.

More GOP Lawmakers have been arrested for sexual misconduct in bathrooms than Trans people. Just saying.

There is no way Trump will last 2 months in the Primary - July 2015 There is no way Trump will be the GOP nominee - February 2016 There is no way Trump can win the Presidency - July 2016 There is no way Trump can last a full 4 years as President - February 2017 I see a trend.

That is the thing. When The President talks about fake news he really isn't talking to the American people as a whole, he is talking to his base. The right has played this game for decades, undermining main stream media, be it Limbaugh's "drive by media" or Palin's "lamestream media" they tell their supporters you can't trust of believe anything but what we deem acceptable. Therefore any criticism of the President is seen as suspect or as fake, by many Americans. This is the way dictators and cult leaders work. Unfortunately, the only way this will change is The President does something t

Holy fucking shit. The President is giving a press conference right now and it is a complete train wreck. I am honestly horrified at the things he is saying right now.

At some point, it will be all too much, for the GOP to ignore and the will have to impeach the President. But with most of the conservatives out there completely brainwashed into thinking any type of criticism of the President is Un-American, and probably fake news, whatever it will be has to be huge. This would leave Pence in charge, which is what many Mainstream conservatives want, a far right religious president. Or what is more likely the Dems get back into power in 2018. This is the more likely scenario because I do believe gerrymandering will be deemed illegal by SCOTUS. So the lik

Watching Spicer's press conference on this. Yeah looks like it won't go any further. Chaffetz agrees: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/jason-chaffetz-michael-flynn_us_58a31aa2e4b03df370da45b9?ncid=inblnkushpmg00000009 Beyond that this is the first time I have seen the "Skype" questions fro the press pool. Man, I have never seen a group of hand picked ultra right wing, soft ball questions in my life. And it is true Spicer is horrible at his job.
-
Man, now that Michael Flynn has resigned I wonder if the Congress will have the balls to go after him for violating the Logan Act.

What do you expect. The President has no knowledge, no understanding of the basic workings of government, let alone the job he has. Interesting read from Politico http://www.politico.com/story/2017/02/donald-trump-challenges-governing-presidency-234879 I always used to laugh when people tried to simplify the workings of government (especially budgets) down to, why can't the government be run like a household/ business? Now we have an entire group of people who are trying to do that very same thing. Jesus, it has been less than a month, what a dumpster fire this has been. At som

It will probably be Sean Hannity.
-
They might, just to give him a smack down. Imagine what a 8-0 or 7-1 decision, whould do. The president made a huge mistake using the phrase "so called judge."

I feel this is just a smoke screen. With her near melt down on CNN a couple days ago, her Bowling Green f ups and general stupidness, I think the administration is has offered her up as a token, a "hey look American public we do care about ethics" type of thing. She is an easy sacrificial lamb. I honestly believe that Conway was told to say this, to move the story from the President's tweet (which is really more of a story) on to her. I am sure there is a bunch of other stuff going on too if we cared to dive deeper. I have said this before the President and his team are extremely adept

Hixter has been gone since a few months before the election. Which is a shame, because before he left he said he would have voted for Trump. I wonder what his thoughts are now.

I guess with no immigrants to pick our vegetables, clean our houses and watch our children, some one has got to pick up the slack. Highly educated aren't gonna do that.

What I can't understand is, why Republicans hate public education so much. Is it the fact that it is taxes? Is it unions? Is it the fact they teach science and facts?
-
What is? My statement? The statement by the administration? Your statement? If anything the incorrect polls helped Trump. It kept many away from voting or voting for a third party instead of Clinton. The media has to look at what went wrong and how to fix their polling data. But to use the polling as the reason the news is now fake is stupid and does nothing more to increase the US against them mentality of this administration.
-
So the chief reason that it is fake news because the incorrectly predicted Brexit and a Trump win? And this than negates everything else they have said or will say? Jesus. The Trump Administration is more like a cult every day.
-
What is being totally missed in all of this is his vow to end the Johnson Amendemnt, which forbids tax-exempt Churches from political speech. Also notice no one is talking about his SCOTUS nominee anymore. Donald is a trickster
