I used to love the simpsons, but in recent years it has been more of a , then anything else. I think the show has become a parody of itself. But tonight I have nothing to do, I might as well turn on the TV and watch Jack and Meg. More then likely they will only be part of the episode for a few minutes in the beginning and a bit at the end. So I am not expecting anything great

I just got this today. I haven't gotten into the whole Colin Meloy thing. We will see what this album does for me

Bigger than Blue is Jay's best solo release. It has some great songs and some that just suck. Is stuff with Burch is fablous and you can't go wrong with the two Palace records. Do not bother with anything else becsue it just is not good. I have always felt that Jay Bennett's music suffers from the fact that there is no one to tell him no. On Bigger then Blue some needed to say, "hey Jay 500 tracks of different weird looping changes, and 30 different guitar parts do not show your genius. Hold back a bit." A perfect example of this is Jay's version of Cars Can't Escape. Jay gr

While I applaud Jeff and his health, the track record is against him. Billy Joel, Elton John, Eric Clapton, James Taylor are just a few that I can name who have gotten "clean" and their music was not nearly as good as what it was when they where on drugs/mental issues. Now with that being said, I feel Jeff's music will be better than before. He has one thing that they do not, a kick ass band/group. People tend to forget that Jeff Tweedy is a member of a Wilco. He is the driving force "front man" but it sounds like the songs they are working on now are a true collaberate effort. I saw
