After reading several articles on the new Radiohead album, there has been a lot of comments on the bit rate of the download. After listening to the album several times, I have not noticed any difference from albums that I have ripped from CD's, or listened to via the actual CD. I should note, that I am not an audiofile, I have average speakers and use the headphones that came with my iPod. So the question I have for all of you, is does the bit rate really matter, and how many of you are concerned with the bit rate of audio tracks? I have lived in Madison (or the area) from the age of three until now (less 6 years while I was in Minneapolis and DC). Looking at the old iTunes I found "New York Baby" - Leona Ness "New York Town" - Woody Guthrie And in that area but not necessarily NY "Newark Wilder"- Pavement "New Jersey" - Red House Painters I suppose you could put on anything from the Beastie Boys To the 5 Boroughs but that album is craptastic.

A side from the fact that is slightly over produced, and the lyrics are at times a tad trite. The song is good and fits great in the album as whole.

so yeah, I listened to it and well it made wish I still smoked pot, but since I don't it was mostly annoying, and I got bored with it really quick.
