A couple of weeks until after thanksgiving? Isn't that Christmas? I need some cool mixes to combat the Josh Groban Christmas album that my mother in-law has been playing. I'll have my attempt by the end of the week one hopes.

In my never end question to find holiday music that doesn't completely nauseate me, I am turning to VC, in efforts to find some good tunes. So here is the deal, create your holiday mix. And by Holiday, I mean any and all of the holidays that fall between the end of November and the end of December. Upload 'em to yousendit.com; and then post the corresponding link in this thread. I think t had to do where the concert is located. Since it is in a UW building they have to set a side x number of tickets for the UW. The percentage is likely higher the non UW tickets. More then likely they ran out of non UW tickets in the morning and the Campaign HQ could only give out UW tickets. Needless to say I gots mine.

You know I fail to see how sitting in the cockpit of a fighter jet getting ready to attack Cuba, makes a person "tested." If the call came down from his superior officers to attack Cuba he would of done it. If he had a choice or some decision that is another matter. He was nothing more then a you flight jock awaiting his orders. That story really proves nothing about McCain's experience and readiness if he is tested as President. In fact it makes me worried that without orders from someone would McCain know what to do?

Their latests album Here &Now, had a bunch of cool people on it, Ryan Adams, Ben Kweller, James Iha and covers of Nada Surf and My Morning Jacket, plus the second disc was all live. It sounded like it would be good, but it was pure shit. Really it was horrible. I mean soft rock is the worst thing to ever happen to music.

Wonders if you are listening to the real album that came out yesterday or the fake leak that came out a couple of months ago. The fake leak is pretty juvenile and lyrically dumb (which was its point I think). The real album is pretty cool, lyrically more mature, but not a hell of a lot more, then the leak.
