seems a lot of banter once they got into the 1980s was pretty bitter toward the audience kind of weird they seemed to have a lot of contempt for some segments of their following by the mid-1980s

journey was actually incredible once upon a time long before steve perry joined, they were basically a group of santana sidemen (greg rolie, aynsley dunbar, etc.) i saw them twice during this period and they were phenomenal then perry joined and they spiraled downhill but for a while there, they were a hell of a band -

yeah, to me Cuba and The RCA Album -- the two records with Bob Rupe -- were phenomenal then Walter forgot how to write good songs and that was it but those two records, Cuba, especially are stunning -

this might be the most unlikely one yet! unless mike scott hasn't figured out yet that karl wrote Ship of Fools about his stay in the waterboys Save me. Save me from tomorrow I don't want to sail with this ship of fools. No, no Oh, save me. Save me from tomorrow I don't want to sail with this ship of fools I want to run and hide right now Avarice and greed are gonna drive you over the endless sea They will leave you drifting in the shallows or drowning in the oceans of history Traveling the world, you're in search of no good but I'm sure you'll build your Sodom like you knew you would Us -

Encountering Vista problems
hardwood floor replied to Gobias Industries's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
ya know, i have vista and while i actually don't mind it, it does seem to take up huge amounts of RAM apparently, there are a dozens of needless functions that are built into vista that use up vast amounts of resources. i'm a total tech moron and have been reading up on this stuff trying to figure it out supposedly, there are ways to deactivate or shut down these operations but i haven't figured out how yet. and i ain't messing with my registry so that really helped, didn't it? -
