Cash Cow - rBGH My old punk band (from 1994). Yeah, a little musical masturbation for me this afternoon!

My favorite 2 minutes in all the history of cinema. Hell, my favorite 20 seconds or so is the final portion of this clip: "Hey, Boo!"

Aah, but are you listening to Copyright? Now, THAT would be a coincidence! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5QGrfoKCdk

I am blanking on who those other bands are at this moment, but I get a definite 90's vibe from you guys and it just FEELS to me like some of those bands that I saw around town; bands who I liked but who never really made much of a splash beyond Chicago. Hopefully you will make a bigger one. I like it!

Very nice work! Echoes of Camper van Beethoven in the vocals... sounds little like some local (Chicago) bands that I am a fan of, as well. I like the horns and it's just good summertime music. So, just how much $US is 20 PLN?

A friend of mine just left this link on my wall at Facebook. An interesting read, if you are a fan. Even if you are not, it may make you want to take a listen to his music. I think you'll be happy: http://www.afropop.o...ever-his-thing/

This is the album that I am listening to right now: An initial RIYL: Lloyd Cole, The Waterboys, The Humblebums, and a few others that I can't think of right now. It's my first listen, and it's not exactly killing me, but I am still somehow compelled to keep listening. That is a good thing, and a sign that it is most-likely a serious grower. I read the AMG bio both for Leven, himself and for his earlier band, Doll by Doll. But can anyone else get me a bit more of a personal take on his music? I like to hear what you folks think, if you are familiar. Thanks!

Currently I am listening to Latin Playboys, the very, very cool side project of David Hidalgo and Louie Perez from Los Lobos. And while it is incredibly cool, as I said, and I will listen to it for a long time, it is still not my favorite foray outside of a primary band by a musician that I admire. That would be: THE DUKES OF STRATOSPHEAR The spot-on 60s psych-evoking band that is populated solely by members of XTC. They only had 2 releases: an EP (25 O'Clock) and an LP (Psonic Sunspot), but both of them were every bit as good as anything ever released by their main band -- one of the best b
