  3. WXRT, here in Chicago, just had their 1990s flashback weekend. Goddamn. It doesn't seem like THAT long ago. At least, it doesn't until I sit and think of it for a little bit. Shit.
  4. So... I heard somebody on the Canadian Public Radio show "Q" mention this record last night. The description of the music, and the clips themselves piqued my curiosity. (Described as XTC and The Jam rocking out together under the influence of post-punk bands like Wire and produced by Eno. Too many personal buzzwords there for me to ignore.) After doing a search here and coming up with nothing, I though that I would start this thread to see if any of you have yet heard this record. Here's the AMG review:

  6. So the question then becomes: How does one change the online/download experience into a public market? A place where behaviors are witnessed by the public at-large? Make it so that it's an honor system... but names of purchasers/downloaders are displayed for all to see, along with donation amount? Or is that too much of a privacy intrusion?
