  1. So... I heard somebody on the Canadian Public Radio show "Q" mention this record last night. The description of the music, and the clips themselves piqued my curiosity. (Described as XTC and The Jam rocking out together under the influence of post-punk bands like Wire and produced by Eno. Too many personal buzzwords there for me to ignore.) After doing a search here and coming up with nothing, I though that I would start this thread to see if any of you have yet heard this record. Here's the AMG review:

  3. So the question then becomes: How does one change the online/download experience into a public market? A place where behaviors are witnessed by the public at-large? Make it so that it's an honor system... but names of purchasers/downloaders are displayed for all to see, along with donation amount? Or is that too much of a privacy intrusion?

  7. I got an invitation for that, but I later got a cancellation for it. It's not actually cancelled, but they are "revising some details" so I'm not so sure that the dates and times are totally accurate.
  8. Buzzcocks played new material when I saw them in 1996.
  9. Never saw them myself damnit, but I've heard good things about the recent shows from: Wire. Oh, and I saw TELEVISION in 1992, and they absolutely killed!
