  1. There is none. At least not in the US. So, what I am going to try to do is petition Little Steven's Underground Garage on Sirius (satellite) radio to put a show on their station. It would fit in perfectly with their format and would finally give a spot on the radio for some of my (and some of your) favorite music. I'm Tweeting at them @littlesteven_ug to try to get their attention and think that you and your friends should do the same. Would love to get something going. Send them enough notes so they can't ignore. Why not? Send them links to some of your favorite songs from the genre, too. DO
  2. Tropical F**k Storm - Braindrops
  3. I guess, if I am to make any attempt at this, I should first create a top 10: Tom Zé The Beatles Guided By Voices The Kinks Nick Lowe Brian Eno Yo La Tengo XTC Neutral Milk Hotel Big Star And then, I suppose: PrinceShrimp BoatREMThe RamonesParliamentTelevisionJenny Lewis/Rilo KileyThe RochesRoky EricksonUncle TupeloWilcoBlurTalking Heads©Wireand a bunch more that I will probably remember later. FYI: None of these are in any particular order, and they may all change 5 minutes from now.
  4. This changes day by day. Especially as I discover new artists that I become obsessed with for a while. Are they going to be top ten? No? Just a short term obsession or a long time favorite? I don't know!!! Albums are easier to rank than bands.
  5. Milton Nascimento - Clube da Esquina
  6. Salad Boys - This is Glue Weyes Blood - Titanic Rising
  7. Kiko Dinucci - Cortes Curtos
  8. I just remembered that, and was about to come back and post it. But you beat me to it! How about another Mojo classic: "Debbie Gibson is Pregnant With My 2-Headed Love Child" ? Or then, a non-Mojo song... Jonathan Richman - "Velvet Underground"
