like a couple people have said, wilco is jeff. i dont' think the lineup has really changed the sound of the band as much as jeff has just wanted the sound to change. back before he went to rehab he was writing darker and more complex stuff but it had so much emotion in it and it was brilliant. now i feel like he's just simplified everything. i like wta and sbs, but i most definitely prefer previous albums

One Wing has a pretty sweet beat when the drums come in, its no IATTBYH but it's not exactly a standard beat

solitaire is probably my favorite, reminds me the most of old wilco

who knows how to play "alone" from the yhf demos? love that song and im dyin to learn it

next to country disappeared, my least favorite on the album. who knows what will be next week, but this song gets on my nerves

i just got the wilco songbook and its pretty much piano music which is a little disappointing since i got it for guitar. just has the chords above each measure. but i can play a tid bit of piano and was wondering what are some easy songs to learn first out of the book?

my cousin is really into wilco and i saw them on his ipod and i guess they're name interested me so i played hummingbird and liked it..which was like 2 years ago..then downloaded some random songs and just got into them from there and now have their complete discography, BAitUSA and some tweedy stuff, and i can't get enough. Frist time i saw them was earlier this february, cause they took forever to come back to philly
