less than 3000 seats, a perfect si
Wilco played there on their "Evening with.." tour, almost exactly 2 years ago to the day - 4/9/10. Great place to see a show, and a great setlist: http://wilcobase.com...?event_key=1286
If I remember, it is a pretty big symphony-type hall, as far as symphony-type halls go.
Less than 3,000 seats-not big, not small, perfect size for Wilco! And the sound is outstanding.

Never heard of this venue before. Got center orchestra. Anyone seen a show there?
Ive seen a bunch of shows there going back to my childhood. It is one of the best venues on the planet and perfect for wilco. You are in for a treat.

Cant believe there are still tix left for hartford, that venue is small!
-
Got row M section C for Hartford-very happy!

Missed the premiere in NYC due to work, and cablevision isnt showing it!

I was at the show last night as well.
I arrived at 7:30 and missed the first three songs since I don't facebook or tweet
I too was bummed that they ended early.
But when they played it was good. The sound was turned down, but it wasn't bad at all.
Short, decent show. Oh and it poured. Perhaps they had couldn't use part of the sound system due to the rain. Some of the lights were definitely not being used.
Its the venue-shows just don't seem to go off well.

Motley Crue: I'm not putting the metal umlauts on there that happened just because the band was drinking Lowenbrau at the time.
Brilliant.

Things got dilapidated quickly after the 93 tour.
Agree about 93' fall 93' MSG shows were my last.
The scene had a bad vibe and the shows were downright painful at times.

Sure wish I was heading out to Alpine right about now. C'est la vie.....
Looking forward to the movie premiere in NYC on the 20th

Ozzy-Diary of a madman tour.
Ozzy is sitting in a throne that rises up from under the stage, smoke, red lights, castle facade........
Musically, nothing makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up like hearing Mike McCready play the first few notes of release...

Anybody see a tracklisting for the soundtrack album? Can't find it anywhere.
It has not been released yet-apparently it is being held close to the vest.

Patrons of a Wrigleyville bar were treated to an impromptu performance by Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder after the Cubs-San Francisco Giants game Thursday.
Beth Murphy, co-owner of Murphy’s Bleachers just beyond Wrigley Field’s famous scoreboard, convinced Vedder to perform during the open mic night, she said.
“He was on his way out and he wanted a hot dog,” Murphy said. “I told him hot dogs take about seven minutes, and I told him that’s enough time for two songs.”
Vedder “didn’t hesitate much,” Murphy said, and took the stage to sing Cubs tribute “All the Way” and Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World.”
“It was great — we had all our regulars in here,” Murphy said. “We had real Murphy’s people in here, and they just went crazy.”
Harold Share, 63, of Wrigleyville, is a frequent patron who was thrilled to see Vedder perform, he said.
“He just got up and started singing,” Share said. “You don’t expect to see something like that, not on a game day at Wrigley. It was awesome.”
Vedder sang “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” with former Cub Jose Cardenal during the earlier game and then spent four hours at the bar, Murphy said.
“Eddie’s come here for many years,” Murphy said. “He considers Murphy’s a second home.”

the scuttlebutt is that someone pulled a permit for a 3 day stretch at Fenway for a concert, and pearl jam is the prime suspect.
yup
gonna be a lot of unhappy folks that shelled out $$$$$$$$$$ for PJ20 if that goes down
