  1. Maybe a little strong...I will go with Really disliked.
  2. For me the show was a blast. Was not all that engaged with Weir. So early in the day but he sounded pretty good. MMJ killed it as usual. Loved the opening Circuital and they are just great. Most of the crowd was not interested but there were some who were into it. I figured it was going to be a great set when they busted out At My Window. Band seems a little understated which I guess is expected when you "open" for someone else. I always like the "Being There" encore vs. the YHF but overall I was just happy that they were playing within 60 minutes of my house. Jeff sounded really

  4. My source...who works for Livenation said...Weir 5:30.....MMJ 6:15......thats all the info I have
  5. I will but it won't be until 8:00 tomorrow AM....unless I am motivated to give from cell phone...but driving 1 hour south after show..so that is doubtfull.
  6. TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT Hope they open with Misunderstood.
  7. Wilco on tonight at.11:45 All it says is WIlco 2013. The band performs war on war and Jesus. Anyone know what show this is from?
  8. I'll be there. Never miss wilco when they come to fla. driving up from broward.
  9. Just saw them in Philly. Just one word "AMAZING". Blown away. Been to hundreds of shows and have to say I thought they sounded pretty much perfect. Took my 20 year old and just think they have been doing it for 30 years more than his age.
  10. The Boot I have has Positively 4th as the opener...best version I ever heard.
  11. Misunderstood is the best wilco opening fo sho
  12. It's a great song. One of my fav dead songs. Dylan covered it a few times
  13. I am chilling on a Friday night. Standard set
  14. You can have a legit arguement with that but we are just talking about opening songs. IMO the best opening who song would be Substitute which is what they open with most of the time (not including specialty shows).
  15. Yes..Imagine being in a building when this happens. we all love Wilco and other "indi" type groups but this is a different animal. Trust me, when Wilco opens with Misunderstood I get about as happy as I can get (not including the big O....lol) but Rock and Roll to start a show
  16. I want to think that but I think they have a very limited "hard core fan base". Do you think if they toured they would play anything above a theater (2,000-3,000k places)?
  17. You really think the Mats are a big draw. What is the biggest shows they ever did? I compare them to VU in the sense that they really never got to a wide audience....btw I love them both.
  18. I have been to many many shows in my 30+ years of going to concerts and was thinking about the best opening songs I ever saw (or maybe saw on a concert film). Here a few that stick out. 1. Elton - Funeral/Loves Lies Bleeding 2. Neil - Hey Hey My My 3. Zep - Rock and Roll (never saw except on The Song Remains the Same Movie) I will add to list as the memories come back..
  19. I was thinking that too.....come on got to come up with another phrase.
  20. They also had Taj Mahal. The real reason they jumped the shark is the ticket prices which has been discussed all other the place. That being said I am excited to go see them in Philly later this month.' I think the thing with Mick Taylor is that 2-3 songs per night is the amount where it is like a "special guest" and not a full on member (which would in a sense disrespect Woody maybe). Plus they basically told Wyman to pound pavement on this tour (he said he was up for a guest spot). It's really all about the Benjamin's for them.
  21. I am enjoying it (at least 1/2 of the songs). Puts a big smile on my face. Get Lucky is song of at least the summer if not the year. Just infectious really, best since Hey Ya.
