Pretty sure he moved out of the ranch....as far as ownership that is a different story.

Neil made statement that he is no longer involved with the Bridge School Benefit...crazy 30 years of shows. I would love to see a list of artists that have participated. I bet it is an incredible list of pretty much everyone in Rock and Roll.

Here is a bunch that are basically tribute acts: Skynyrd Blackfoot Kansas Foreigner Yes (2 going around now) Eagles (guess they are doing a few shows) Dead & Co. Chicago Pretty much 90% of the "classic rock" bands still touring I remember when there was like 4 acts going around saying they were the platters

Darn I was going to post Bruce when he did E Street Shuffle on Fallon but for some reason it's not on the interwebs -
I think blue sky was only played live a few times with Duane. Only version I ever heard. Love it

IMO They have a strong case (in comparison to other that have gotten in recently). Plus: Great 4 records to start career, one of the best live bands of the era, had some hits. Minus: Copy of the faces/stones, uneven recording career, not a lot of influence on other bands. I do not think they have been given any consideration yet with the nomination committee yet, so we will watch to see if that changes. For me I loved them when they were kicking it...always looked forward to the shows.

Chris is on Howard Stern today.

Nice...I read about the Vedder and Mumford and Sons but they didnt talk about Ben H. Bad needs to be in the setlist for good...so does All I want Is You (right around Joshua Tree time).

Sweet...wow. I wonder if they will tour or just 1 shot deal? I think "oldchella" needs this to exist. Maybe they can get Kinks too....and throw in Talking Heads to boot.

At least Rush plays for 2.5 - 3 hours. The last tour they did was off the hook....started with current songs and went backwards through the years (even changed sets to reflect the specific tour). One of the best shows I ever saw. As far as Petty, I stopped seeing him years ago because of the lack of excitement and the same songs over and over and only plays like 90-100 min....for like $500. on a side note...Paul M. coming to Miami and I looked at buying a ticket. Worst Lowers are $500 and decent lowers are $850...this is face value. At least they are taking out the Brokers and the res

I only remember 2 songs. Will have to go back to the tape. The last 30 min of show is great. First the chef then the music. Always interesting artists. Only some get the interview. 50/50. I am amazed as well. Don't think I ever was an artist who looks so unhappy on stage.

What a group. Have seen them a handful of times and each time I go away in awe. They are like 21st century Jazz artists...each on stage in a zone. Love the double percussion and the bass in the middle...drives the whole thing. Also, interesting that they barely play any of the "hits".

Radiohead (the English Wilco). Tomorrow

That is True....Dylan Time out of Mind in 1997...he was almost 60 at the time. Not sure how many great ones were made by a person (or group) over 40 years old.
