Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band
suites replied to Sweet Papa Crimbo's topic in Someone Else's Song
That ain't oil that's blood. -
And they are on Spotify. Now let's get Neil young back on.
-
For sure. But it's weird at any age. Had mine at 26 and 29. Being a parent is crazy at any age.
-
Most if not all of those types (Journey, STYX, Def Lep., Bill Joel)...all the old timers do the same thing. They have nothing new to offer and fans only want to hear the "hits". Makes for a boring time for the bands. How exciting is it to play Dream Police for the 1000 time. I call them Jump out the Window Songs (great songs that we have all heard enough for 3 lifetimes). I wonder if Wilco will ever be that.
-
Just read it might be on all platforms including Spotify. 12/24 is the rumored date
-
When are they going to be on Spotify?
-
I agree...but I guess I didn't get the reference "the had their chance" vs. what I said said 0.00 ladies.
-
Cause they play like girls?
-
The Fan vote that gave Chicago the win (only worth 1 ballot anyway) was compromised (bots). So meaningless...shame because they would have won it anyway. Shame YES did not get in but they will eventually I am sure. I like Cure better than Smiths...but Smiths may get in first. Both have been nominated in past but either gets in. Diversification is becoming a problem....0.00 ladies in this year. NWA is a no brainer. Chic 10 x nominated never voted in...shame...Nile deserves it. They inducted Steve Miller not the Steve Miller Band...mistake.
-
They are announcing next class later tonight. Eddie trunk said he has info that deep purple and cheap trick are in. I wonder who else Should be at least 3 more. Chicago. Janet. Yes. ????
-
I saw both of the tours. When jimmy busted the double neck for the song remains the same. Never saw so many smiling faces. One of the best moments I ever had at a concert
-
Show looks amazing but the band does not really play so hard anymore. Still a great band but seems like they a so restrained. Bad is usually so intense but now when they play it, just not the same. Looks like the screen they have is crazy big and expensive.
-
Listened to a interview with Geddy and Alex and it seemed like they were both game to continue but deferred to Neil....The comment that he made leave it open a bit. He might get the urge again in a couple of years but Yes they did warn on this last tour and what a tour it was.

New U2 album "Songs of Innocence" available free on iTunes
suites replied to Hixter's topic in Someone Else's Song
U2 on HBO. looks like a pretty cool show. Did not come to Florida yet. So this is the first I'm seeing it. A lot of backing tracks buts sounds good. -
Alabama Shakes are the favorite...they are nominated for the Album of the Year. I think they nominated them becuase they need some more ushers.
-
That is redic......You could have the entire band for that for a residency at your house for 4 nights and they would play entire catalog.
-
HELL TO THE YEAH....Sunrise 4/16/15 Wonder if he will be playing the entire River Each Night...I hope so.
-
I say this with peace and love

Mr Misunderstood (i wonder if jeff's ears are burning?)
suites replied to froggie's topic in Someone Else's Song
LOL...Pretty Cool if you ask me, I wonder if JT will get a songwriting credit. Song just came out, so have not seen the credits. Also I like Chris Stapleton and I discovered him from CBS Saturday Morning about a month ago. CBS Saturday usually has some good music guests as well as a good chef each week. -
Yes. I would go to that. I have seen Wilco/Neil's young together. Also wilco with MMJ. I saw DBT with black crowes. Let's add the black crowes to the bill.
-
Yes...it was one of those lost tracks until he released chrome dreams 2 or what ever it was called.
-
I hear you but the YouTube of crime in the city sounds pretty good. There are some other gems in there I bet.
