  1. Agreed but it should be a sideman or backup group situation, like they did a few years ago. They should have them, Silver Bullet Bank, Crazy Horse and a few others. They should not be with the "regular performer list". btw: The nomination committee was revamped this year and I think we now have a more "rockist" ballot this year. I think they do have some fault but they are now moving in the right direction. It is tough with only 5-6 that go in each year and many have favorites. Harry Nilson (imo of course) is on the same level as many that are not in, I don't think he is a shoe
  2. I'm talking in a big scale. Always will be a core but streaming/renting. SPOTIFY is the future
  3. It's like taking a history class I guess....belt notch. Yeah it says 3D...I think they have a video behind them. I mean, I loved Planet Rock as a high schooler and it all came from them....Also I remember Numbers.
  4. Sounds like a lot of work to listen to the same songs. Pono is doomed. I have never seen anyone actually use one. Maybe I am missing something.
  5. I thought the list was decent and diverse except no Page Plant. I thought RS was over the Zeppelin bashing. I guess old habits die hard.
  6. Mr. Heartbreak will help you out
  7. My Morning Jacket - Miami Beach - Anyone gonna be there?
  8. Super sweet. Saw 3 shows in this tour. Great band.
  9. If anyone reads Lefsetz. http://lefsetz.com/wordpress/
  10. Really? $250 for concert tickets Crowd funding for his Pono. I agree to some extent but why is so obsessed with the quality. As far as I can hear in my car car when I crank up Cortez it sounds awesome. I don't get it. Compared to just about every medium that existed. 8 tracks cassette cd, the current steaming sounds pretty pretty good. He is nuts get over yourself it's only music
  11. FUCKIN NEIL...WTF is wrong with this guy...it sounds great to my ears. Although I just checked my spotify and still streaming. Read More: Neil Young Says 'No' to Streaming Services | http://diffuser.fm/neil-young-says-no-to-streaming-services/?trackback=tsmclipCall him a curmudgeon if you’d like, but Neil Young certainly isn’t sitting back on the veranda in his golden years. Hot on the release of The Monsanto Years, a sincere anti-corporate tirade backed up by blistering guitars, Young has now decided to pull all his music from streaming music services. Neil made the announcement earlier
  12. Number one. Squire is / was the shit. Number two Yes ended when they threw our Anderson as far as I was concerned. Like journey and many other bands. Just a money grub.
  13. Who said you need to like the music you produce.....lol. I am also thinking that if a band wants a producer they contact them and make a deal. I am sure Albini wants to make $$$ producing, so if he has an opening in his schedule he will work.
  14. Pretty sure no repeats up till at lease after the first set tonight. 3 shows and tonight so far. Pretty cool. Listening on XM. They are going deep. Standing on the moon from built to last among others.
  15. The interviews were sweet. But I did not get Low key. I got wait for love and diamond light. Weird.
  16. RIP Chris Squire. Just read like a few weeks ago he was sitting out a tour for health reasons shame the hall if fame couldn't get them in before. Now they will get them in. Too late for chris. Great bass player.
  17. That is the point. The other point is (not sure if true) but Trump said he got the proper license and paid for the use. Trust me, Neil has been my #1 guy since I was 12 and I heard Sugar Mountain but he turned into a money grubbing.......ticket prices are very high and all he does is talk about his products (this Pono things is a joke and he went out and got crowd funding).
