Do you wish for it to be moved or removed? The crowd at the recent show in which I was in attendance really lost interest in this song about 3/4 of the way into it. Dylan, however, seemed to be very much into it.

Acquiring Holliday cost the A's Carlos Gonzalez. Perhaps Beane is trying to get fired by pretending he's running the Mets so he can get the hell out of Oakland. -

Being as WGN is a national channel I've listened to far more than one broadcast of "The Hawk." Sometimes I can tolerate him, sometimes not. He's had decent color analysts, though. It could be worse. Harrelson could still be GMing. I'm spoiled. I grew up on Kalas. -

The A's are always scrimping on payroll, yet they are willing to pay a $16M posting fee for star Japanese pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma. Next up for posting, infielder Tsuyoshi Nishioka. -

Because they're fools! Perhaps they wanted raises or longer contracts. The MLB network could be a factor if they've been in contact with Miller and/or Morgan's agents. Fox should jump on them right away and dump Buck and McCarver. I can't stand either one of them. -

The bidding for free agents began today, launching us into the Hot Stove season! I read that the Nationals are aiming to acquire a top starting pitcher and are willing to part with top prospects. Could D.C. be the destination for Zack Greinke? -
Dear My Fellow Fellows, Please stop placing your laptops on your lap. It is bad for your business! That is all. And quite enough at that!

Quotes from "Captain Hook" • "Problem with [John] Wockenfuss getting on base is that it takes three doubles to score him." • "If I hear Bowie Kuhn say just once more he's doing something for the betterment of baseball, I'm going to throw up." • "Me carrying a briefcase is like a hotdog wearing earrings." I've missed Sparky Anderson being away from the game since the day he retired. The good old days of baseball and personality are quickly leaving us.

Sparky took over the Reds in 1970 at age 36, but he always looked older. His hair had turned white even before that. I made the trek up to Cooperstown in 2000 mostly to see him inducted into the HOF. Fisk and Perez were a nice bonus. -

Baseball manager, legend and sweet soul Sparky Anderson has been placed under hospice care as he is sufferring from dementia. This makes me sad as Sparky is one of my most favorite baseball people so long as I've been a fan of the game. -

Great or important? No, but very strange, given the purpose of the meeting. -
