  9. I really like Charlie Manuel, but we all knew this would be his final year in Philly. He still wants to manage, but he's 69; so he's probably looking at being a mid-season replacement, if anything. I'll always appreciate him for the '08 season!

  11. Tweedy's previous statement was that he failed to personally talk to Ken Coomer (almost called him Ron Coomer -haha!) when he wanted him to leave the band. Firing Bennett personally was a step needed to take in his own maturity, rather than have the manager handle everything for him.
