  1. Are you a relative of his? Calm down. This is America where for the time being you can still criticize your government and your leaders. If Abraham Lincoln was president now, I'd be posting the same articles. Do you follow blindly and accept everything that is put out there by the bureau of information? I hate to tell you this, but I feel he's one of the worst presidents in our nation's history. Of course, only time will tell, but that's how I feel and I believe many will agree if they aren't already getting that feeling. I voted for the dude. I admit I had my reservations at the time, but wh
  2. I came across this article today. I think we can all agree with his premise that spending is the problem. The problem for many of you is the solution he offers at the end. But, I don't think you can have it both ways, as most politicians and some of you, believe... Spending, not Taxation, Is the Problem by Jacob G. Hornberger With President Obama and various Republican presidential candidates competing to reduce corporate income taxes, it must be election time. Do you ever feel like you’re living in a Latin American country, where the presidential candidates are notorious for offering
  3. It's pretty obvious that I support my running mate Ron Paul for president. Even Stevie Wonder or Lassie would notice that. I will not vote for any of the others. If for some strange reason Ron Paul or his son end up on the ticket with Romney, I might reconsider, for reasons that I wouldn't want to publicly admit. For Crow, who already gets it and for others who would like to understand or learn something about Libertarianism and where Ron Paul is coming from...
  4. Debt as Obama entered office...10.6 trillion Debt this morning...15.387 trillion $48,000 a second... Estimated debt by end of first term...16.2 trillion If my math is correct that is an increase of 65% in four years... Estimated debt in ten years based on Obama's recent budget proposals....26 trillion Isn't that over 150%? I don't have the math gene... Something to brag about I guess... Where is the U.S. headed if Pres. Obama is adding an estimated $5 trillion to the national debt in his first term? If you add in the $1 trillion-plus deficits he has run for his first three y

"Thomas Jefferson lives, he's Ron Paul..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7X8WJdlq1k As US Debt To GDP Passes 101%, The Global Debt Ponzi Enters Its Final Stages Today, without much fanfare, US debt to GDP hit 101% with the latest issuance of $32 billion in 2 Year Bonds. If the moment when this ratio went from double to triple digits is still fresh in readers minds, is because it is: total debt hit and surpassed the most recently revised Q4 GDP on January 30, or just three weeks ago. Said otherwise, it has taken the US 21 days to add a

"Satan is attacking the great institutions of America, using those great vices of pride, vanity, and sensuality as the root to attack all of the strong plants that has so deeply rooted in the American tradition." MORE The former senator from Pennsylvania warned in 2008 how politics and government are falling to Satan. "This is a spiritual war. And the Father of Lies has his sights on what you would think the Fat

Obama fights to keep unconstitutional warrantless wiretapping powers Unfortunately, the Obama administration has exploited secrecy to an extreme which even George W. Bush couldn’t hold a candle to. http://www.activistp...titutional.html US Expands Afghan Prison It Promised to Hand Over to Kabul The broken promise is a sign of how little progress has been made in Afghanistan by John Glaser Most of the 3,000 or so detainees the U.S. holds in the main Bagram facility have been physically abused, have not been charged, have seen no evidence
  9. Here you go, Moss... Corporatocracy: Ron Paul says US ‘slipping into fascism’ The presidential hopeful echoed words already once delivered to the American people – by their president. Dwight Eisenhower said, in his farewell address to the nation, “In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.” The disastrous rise, it seems, has happened. In 2009 alone, the United States was responsible for almost

  11. I wonder how many of us have witnessed an abortion? How would we feel seeing some of the things Ron Paul has witnessed? When Ron Paul was present for one while training to be a doctor, I guess it had an affect on him that disturbed him from what I gather both from hearing him speak about it as well as reading accounts about it in several of his books. Remember, he has delivered over 4,000 babies. I'm sure the thought of sucking a fetus out of a woman is repugnant to him as are the 50 million abortions performed since 1973. I can't hold that against him since he's taken a oath to preserve life
  12. I had a strange dream with a Wilco concert in it as well last night. The band was sitting at a table talking to people about general stuff in the middle of a high school bleachers kind of set up. When it was time for the concert to begin, on the stage, which happened to be behind the bleachers for some reason, there was nothing but a piano with no Wilco gear and no Wilco. I left via the side stage door which brought me to a walk-way along the ocean or some kind of body of water with huge waves crashing up on me. I had to open doors to my left to try to get off the walk-way but none of them
