agreed about Ribierio and Ott, they have made some terrible moves the last few years, Tom Hicks as an owner leaves a lot to be desired -
now I hate USC but they might have the most talented defense I have seen in college, guys like Maualuga, Mays, Ellis, and Rivers will be pro bowlers if healthy and Cushing, Jackson, Thomas, etc will all be good pros as well

The Stars have lacked toughness IMHO since they let Hatcher go, someone like Avery was needed -

haha too soon?!? I heard sloppy seconds on ESPN this morning and almost died laughing, I didnt know you could say that on TV, I actually like Avery but STFU dude -
kinda saw that coming....maybe Petrino or Saban will want the job? Too Soon?!? Bud Foster would be a good choice, Brian Kelly from Cincy as well, Auburn needs an offensive coach though, Mike Leach in the SEC maybe?

As a Stars fan I got to say they are underperforming BIG TIME -
if USC and Penn State play this year it will be very similar to the USC-Illinois rose bowl game last year and the Florida-Ohio State national title game two years ago
-
Florida would be the SEC champs, there is no way UT would stay above them after Florida beat the #1 team in America, now you know I dont care for UT (dont hate them...just dont care for them) but I do think you guys are getting hosed a little bit, it looks like UTEP, Rice & Florida Atlantic in the out of conference schedule is hurting UT, it's time for an 8 team playoff
-
there is no very good team in the Big 11 this year, USC will make Penn State look like an NAIA team, I hope for the sake of watching bowl games and enjoying them USC is not matched up with Penn State and plays Bama or Texas or something, I have heard rumors that USC wants to play in the Orange or Sugar bowl... I think Florida would beat USC......I'd take USC over Bama or Texas though...OU-USC would be a push, great offense vs great defense
-
Bleedorange and any other Hook Them fans.... Are you worried about if OU gets upset by Missouri that USC will jump Texas in the BCS standings......if and when USC beats UCLA? The powers that be dont want egg on their face again like in 2001 and 2003 when Nebraska and Oklahoma made those title games without winning their conference I want wantever keeps USC out of the national title game so go OU!
-
I loved the Roy Williams trade, Calvin Johnson will develop and Roy wasnt going to resign anyway, anytime you can get a first round pick for someone you have to listen, they got a 3rd round pick too...with 5 picks in the first three rounds they have a chance to get a lot better in the offseason, maybe like 2-3 wins next year

I'm a die hard Detroit Lion fan, I watch them every week, I dont think they would lose to OU but I think OU would score a lot of points on them, I also don't think the Lions would get in the 30's on Southern California's defense....this Lions team is the worst team in the NFL in a decade and by far the least talented...thanks Millen! I think the 2001 Miami team was very talented but vulnerable, they almost lost to Boston College (who was even without William Green in that game) and a very average VA Tech, I think Miami had some teams in the 80's that were better than that 2001 team, Miami

I'm hoping someone hires Gary Patterson away from TCU, that opens the door for Turner Gill (Fort Worth native) who is the Head Coach at Buffalo to get the TCU job It's a no brainer to me that K State go after Patterson or Brent Venables (defensive coordinator at OU), they both played at K State....sure Snyder was a great coach be he is like 70 years old, not sure how long he will be able last
-
I'm waiting for the Lions to join the NFL
-
I do agree a lot of teams have caught up, there are what like 15-20 jobs where a coach can win a national title, maybe 25? I think TN is one of those jobs, they can get the horses but I agree its not as good of a job as it was in the 90's or even early this decade, how LSU and Georgia were not better sooner I have no idea
-
half the jobs in the SEC are great jobs IMHO -Florida -GA -LSU -Tennessee -Bama -Auburn Arkansas, South Carolina, and Miss State are pretty good jobs as well

wow we agree on something, I like October a lot, very underrated -
I'm really hoping nobody wants Kiffin that badly, he is close friends with Bo Pelini and I would love to fire Shawn Watson (our Offensive Coordinator) and hire Kiffin, even 2-3 years of Kiffin would be awesome with what he can do recruiting wise
-
There is really no reason for Tennessee to not be in the top 10-15 every year, thats a great job one of the 10 best in America probably, if they are smart about their hire they will be back in the BCS picture in three years, heck throw Saban or Petrino lots of money, sorry I had too haha
-
I think Tennessee should try and get Mike Leach or Brian Kelly (Cincy) but Kiffin is an interesting hire, him and Orgeron are excellent recruiters and Tennessee is a really good job, Kiffin might be better off being an OC for 2-3 more years and then going for a head coaching job, he is still really young and a job like Tennessee might be a little out of Kiffin's league right now, Orgeron is an excellent D Line coach though that would be a good hire as a DC for TN

I have some friends who went to KU, I was very close to actually going there, Lawrence is an amazing party town, Mass street is fun I hate it too, there are just way too many bowl games too, there should be like 5-10 less, with a 12 game schedule you should have to win like 7-8 to make a bowl, making a bowl use to mean something now coaches get fired if they dont make a good enough bowl game, WTF
-
Florida could lose to FSU this weekend, it wouldnt be a shocker, its a rivalry game and FSU is starting to play well and its in Tally, I dont think this will happen but stranger things have, I think Florida would then beat Bamain the SEC title game which would set up an OU-UT rematch in the national title game if they both win out, which would be fun As someone who obviously watches Big 12 games (Husker fan here) the Big 12 has some of the worst refs in America
-
Utah can play UT in Tempe and we will see what the Utes have to offer, I will be rooting for them but I dont think so
