  1. When the page loaded for the old "view new posts" link you'd see columns for "started by", "stats" and "last post info" ( as you still do when you visit the individual forums ).Not seeing that any longer and I miss it. Lots. You also don't get the "go to last un-read" buttom, which I think has been mentioned already. The only way I ever viewed the board in the past was via "view new posts". Curiously, "view new content" seems to take forever to load the page. Significantly longer than in the past; ( running latest ver. of Firefox w/ cleared cache+cookies ). Just some observations..
  2. Yeah, ditto, I'd love to know too. Where's this joint at? Sounds like this is one of the dudes who worked in the cellar at Plan 9 on Cary St. Of which I frequent quite often.
  3. Just checking it out now for the first time. Missed all the hype. Digging it.
  4. Sums it up nicely, and quoted for emphasis. Price point will probably be a factor for you. That said, Lollar Imperials are pricey but I've been happy with the set that I use in a LP standard. You'll find a few variants on this page, along with a single coil near the bottom that will fill the route of a standard humbucker. lollars
  5. Edit: Sitting here listening to this record for the first time in ages I'm reminded of what a great tour this was to behold, how great Cooley and Isbell played off one another and the degree of Tinnitus I "enjoy" because of it.
  6. We have a sale going on right now. Happens twice a year, once in the Spring and again in the Fall. I volunteer and am an avid patron. Usually popular recent hardback fiction goes for around four or five dollars. Click for info. Yesterday evening I picked up Richard Price's Lush Life in hardback for a buck, D.F.W's Infinite Jest in large paperback for a $1.50 and Ira Glass's New Kings of Non-Fiction for $.75. I can't even recall what I've picked up this past weekend....kinda like a kid in a candy store
  7. It's good. I'm streaming off of a shared library and listening in a noisy environment here at work but it sounds like classic Waits.
