I have to say that Clementine is another one of those songs I can listen to more than once. Why they dropped this song is a mystery to me. It spoke to me the very first time I heard it on So Many Roads. (Crystal Ballroom, Portland, Oregon, Feb 2 1968 - which happened to be the day after my 2nd birthday)

Why is that people find this so funny I wonder. A lot of people have died. Stage 4

Those are just tracks from his Theme Time Radio Hour Show. I don't why they are offering that. You can find those shows online in various places.

I think that popped up when I ordered the cd from Amazon.

That what I was thinking. I think that is correct, he is just playing that little keyboard deal.

I think they have or had several rock bands on their label - even George Thorogood. I have also read that Rounder is also going to be the new home of Rush.
-
I suppose at this point, I'd like to see him do some more acoustic solo albums. That is partly due to the fact that I generally prefer acoustic Dylan over electric Dylan as time goes on.
-
It sounds to me like he is going for a sort of rockabilly sound - at least on Jolene. It's All Good makes me think of Everything Is Broken.
-
Plus Rounder is releasing Dennis DeYoung's new album.
-
I have not yet heard it - that is about what I figured. It seems people love it, or hate it.

The Jam at the end of Dark Star on Dick's Picks Volume 2 (Columbus, Ohio 10/31/71). Jerry's playing on this jam makes me think of someone surfing.

I believe she is not there.

Which makes me think of this:

It's the story about Keith saying that he snorted his dead father's ashes. He then later said that he was making that up. I suppose I was just thinking of all those Keith interviews where he threatens people, and talks about carrying a knife in his boot.
-
I heard the song Cocaine And Ashes the other day. Jay better hope that Keith does not come after him with his big knife.

I was reading about it in the Taping Compendium book, and decided to check it out.

I see your point, and actually, the music I listen to the most comes from that time period. I just don't think it's necessary to push the drug issue. I would like to think it was more than that - as a lot of things were going down at the time. And also - we are talking about a very talented group of people, spread over several bands, so something must be said for talent and natural creativity.
