  1. The Wilco album cover is sure different from Son Volt's old-school semi-country look for their new album. My favorite Wilco album cover/album art has always been Being There, which is still my favorite Wilco album.
  2. I remember when President Clinton use to go to McDonald's.
  3. I would be surprised if all of that went down, but, you never know. At the Office Tally, there is a brief article about Mindy Kaling getting her own show.
  4. First deleted scene up already. I thought it was a great episode.
  5. I was checking Amazon just now, and here is what Amazon suggested: Todd Barry - New Wilco Album (LP Version)
  6. I think it has been stated somewhere (I forget where), that his eye lids are just like that naturally.
  7. I just looked. There are several Bottle Rockets shows at the Postcard FTP site, but not the January 2006 show.
  8. I think they are the German version of the RIAA.
  9. It's been a while since I have checked it.
  10. I'll check Postcard's FTP site later on, and see if it is there.
  11. There is that, but I don't see any Bottle Rockets shows listed at db.etree for January 2006. It could be somewhere, I suppose.
  12. Is this the show? Wilcobase-->Date of Show-->Scroll down-->Audio Sources-->Download this show from the Wilco Archive @ Owl and Bear Ok - that's not the show that Jeff plays with The Bottle Rockets. I guess we don't have that one at The Wilco Archive.
  13. Those letters they had up about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame were funny as hell.
  14. She is Max Johnston's sister, for those who may not know that. One of the first cds I ever bought was Short Sharp Shocked.
  15. I don't really care for Steely Dan, but I would be surprised if the did something like Van Morrison did not to long ago. Web Sheriff
  16. Also, there is not standard of quality for those sort of places. They can rip things however they want, and put them up. They only answer to themselves. I actually have 20 or so of those places bookmarked at home. I notice some are better than others. I can't recall the deal with the place you mentioned, I am just speaking in general terms. I would think the cops would have their hands full with shutting down BT sites, but maybe they are going to start going after Blogs that host music also. Of course, if someone is hosting ROIO tracks, I guess they don't have to worry. I have also been readin
  17. I think a lot of those sort of places will be closing up this year. I just read that Rapidshare turned over all of their records to the GEMA.
  18. There is not even an etree listing for it at Wilcobase. I checked - db.etree.org->Wilco->1997 I would guess that it was not taped. We have no listing for this show at The Wilco Archive, either. Whenever we ran across a show that does not have a setlist, and we can provide one with a recently acquired show, I always make sure to let Rob know about it.
  19. Doh! I was watching some videos on Youtube today of Brian and Jeff. That dude should write the Uncle Tupelo story.
  20. I can see your point. I am not that crazy about a lot of effect pedals to begin with. It can be overdone, I mean to say. Personally, I am partial to the sound of the original wah-wah and fuzzface, and some of things that Jimi used. I suppose I name those dudes as that is really the music I prefer, and have mostly listened to since I was a kid. Speaking of guitar players and effect pedals - the fist member of Wilco I ever talked to was Nels. I asked him a question about one of his pedals.
  21. I always wanted a ship in a bottle. An old one though, not some kit deal. Hugo cracks me up.
  22. From what I have read, that was pretty normal back in the day.
