There is a segment right now on CNN about various religious groups sending out anti-Obama letters.

I am not really a fan of "re-mixing".

The story was on Billboard.com today also.

The order of the songs on the cds still sounds funny to me - as I am still use to hearing the American albums. While you are taking care of things over there, get the rest of the Mott The Hoople cds released here.

I would think it is probably related to some religious trip - but I don't know for sure.

I have never heard the Capitol boxsets that were released a few years ago with the American versions of the albums - were they re-mastered?

And yes, they should give us the mono and stereo versions. And - just for the heck of it - A Collection of Beatles Oldies, The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl, etc.

I hope they went outside of Abbey Road - but I guess they did not. HDCD would be nice. They should also be released as a two-fer, just as The Beach Boys were, and as The Stones cds should have been. Although - I suppose some people see that as tampering with the past.

A lot has changed in the world of digital audio technology since they were released on cd. Maybe they are going to hire Dr. Ebbetts and Purplechick to do the work.

Last night, as I was watching CNN's news feature called, Poll of Polls, there was a commercial for an upcoming news segment about Purity Balls. I thought I was watching SNL there for a moment.

There actually use to be live shows up at his site - they were called "field recordings" as I recall.

Some of those live tracks sound as if they were taken from AUD tapes - that is, non SBD sourced.

I should say - I don't much care for the harpsichord part. I think it has to do with the harpsichord itself - I am not much of a fan of the sound that instrument makes. I like to hear the song with just Jerry playing his acoustic guitar.

As far as I know, Decibels Per Minute is not out there anywhere. I search for Wilco and related shows everyday and I have not seen any non-live stuff pop up since the YHF Demo collections (as far as I know).
